Wonderful stay

We enjoyed every minute of it. The island's beauty is mesmerizing. One of the best family vacations ever. Agnes has been such a great host! We are thankfull she was willing to share her house with us!

Peace and Quiet

Beautiful views everywhere you look. Beaches were stunning. Agnes quickly responded to any questions we had. The house was very spacious and well stocked. The one downfall is the water. Although it is safe for drinking, it had a very strong sulphur smell to the point where it was unpleasant to use.

I am happy that you enjoyed your stay but really sorry about the water. We had a new well last year and only had slight smell with the hot water. I will try to fix this for the next season.

If you are looking for a unique experience in a home built many years ago on an island with lots of natural beauty then this is a place for you. The host was great to communicate in advance and very responsive. We didn't have pets or children with our small group of friends but definitely pet friendly and lots of toys and stuff for the little ones. Just getting to the island is an experience. It is about a half hour boat trip. The golf cart will be there waiting for you - golf carts are the main form of motorized transit on the island. It is an old home so it is a bit quirky but has everything you need. The beautiful slate deck is the star of the show. There's a tree nearby so there's always the option of shade or full sun depending on time of day. Beautiful views. Kitchen very well outfitted with everything needed to cook. The outdoor shower was a real hit. It was a cozy get away. And you definitely feel you are "away from it all". But there is great wifi for the device junkies and there is also Starlink tv but it is more the kind of vibe where you want to curl up with a good book. Don't forget anything in terms of food as there are no stores on the island. Cupboard was well stocked with spices, oil, flour, sugar, etc but you must bring everything you want for food and especially anything that requires refrigeration. We ran out of chocolate before the last day but that's only because I'm a chocolate fiend!

Beautiful views throughout the house. We were very comfortable during our stay. There are plenty of kids beach toys and life jackets as well as kayaks. A big plus for us, the beach is about a 10 minute drive by golf cart. Agnès the host was able to get back to us pretty quick if we had any questions.

Great weekend

This was a beautiful property which delivered exactly what we were looking for. The owner was very friendly and easy to reach. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to disconnect from the day to day hustle and bustle. The island was beautiful, great beaches and scenery

a lovely island getaway!

we spent a quiet week exploring the island - by foot, bike, kayak and golfcart and then relaxed around the cozy kitchen table or outside on the lawn. There are views in all directions from the house, and the place has a very relaxed and comfortable feel. Agnes is a great host - very responsive to our questions!
