Discover the absolute solitude of this Cape Breton Island gem. Kintyre Farm has served as gathering place for family and friends, with easy access to forest and ocean, local adventures and fantastic local arts and crafts. Make it your starting point for the Cabot Trail or stay a week in complete serenity.

With 60 acres of birch, maple and pine woods, fields of berries and wildflowers and a mountain-fed waterfall and stream, you can immerse yourself in a private nature wonderland. This early 1900s solar-powered farmhouse has everything you need to stay anytime of year.

There are four bedrooms (1-king, 2-queen, 3-two singles, 4-one single that can expand into two singles, side-by-side), one full bathroom with a tub, plus a half bath on the main level, a large kitchen that opens into a dining nook, a living room with a sectional leather couch that opens onto a screened-in porch and a deck beyond.

Winter stay at Kintyre
Our stay at Kintyre Farm was amazing. It was the perfect spot for our family to stay. The wood stove made it extra cozy, but it also had all the modern amenities. The dogs loved running in the yard as well. We'll be back!
