About this property

Beautiful Home in Downtown and by Colorado College. New furnishings & Clean!

Home is located on a tree lined street in central Colorado Springs. The area is called the Old North End and was developed around 1900. The house is a remodeled home with 2 bedrooms, 1.5baths, sleeps 5. Our home was built in 1900 and features original wood floors and trim. Everything else has been updated. Kitchen has gas range, Island hood, tile floors, breakfast bar, adjacent dining room & more. The property has off street parking and is 1-2 blocks to Colorado College, 1 mile to downtown Colorado Springs, about 10-15 minutes to Garden of the Gods and quick and easy access to I-25. From the house you can get just about anywhere in Colorado Springs in 15-20 minutes. There is WiFi, 50 inch HD TV, cable tv and internet service, linens/towels/blankets/pillows and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The Master bedroom has a queen mattress, the second bedroom has a twin Daybed and the living room has a full sized pullout Sofa sleeper. There is a front porch with table and two chairs and the back patio has a table with 6 chairs and two Adirondack type chairs with propane BBQ grill. The house has central Air Conditioning but being a 118+yr old home, the upstairs doesn't cool as well as the main level. The home is very comfortable and completely set up as a vacation home. Cute house, great location

This house was perfect for the 3 of us. It’s close to pretty much everything, but still a very quiet location. Loved the kitchen and ability to make full meals! Definitely recommend.

My husband, daughter and I really enjoyed our stay in this house. It was well equipped, clean and very comfortable. The location was great and we were an easy drive to all parts of town. I would highly recommend this house to stay in when you are visiting Colorado Springs!

Our stay was amazing! The beds were so comfortable, we had all the dishes we needed to cook a nice meal, and communication was so simple. The owner responded in great time. Not a single issue. Will book again every time I am in the area.

Charming house/great area

The property manager answered all my questions, and was very easy to contact. The house was charming, very clean and suited our needs. I found a cool coffee shop around the corner and walking around the neighborhood was so nice.

Great property. Host provided thorough information and instructions. I loved the guest book. It was fun to read about the history of the house. The restaurant and activity information (also provided in the book) was very helpful.

Clean, Comfortable, Quiet

My husband and I couldn’t have picked a better setting for our June Colorado Springs vacation. The North End neighborhood is an ideal central location for enjoying all that the city has to offer. This home is a jewel, and you can’t beat the view from San Miguel Street! The property description accurately details the home’s multiple amenities, and for this retired couple it offered so much more than the comfy queen-size bed, well-stocked linen closet, refreshing shower, and modern kitchen and appliances. It felt like we were staying at the home of a friend, and we were delighted that we got to meet the family next door. We want to stay here the next time we visit Colorado Springs. Extremely convenient location, near CC and other things I had to do in the Springs. Everything was clean, and the kitchen had pretty much everything I needed. I liked the privacy of having a separate house. Having a washer/dryer was useful for days when I came home dusty!I also appreciated the off-street parking. Area was nice and felt totally safe. Highly recommend this location!

Great CSP stay in this VRBO

Property was exactly what we expected. Neighborhood was nice and safe. We went for several morning walks, looking at the houses. Drank coffee on the front. House itself was as described. Clean, with enough room for the 3 of us. Two bedrooms upstairs share jack and jill type bathroom. Shower was hot. Kitchen had everything we needed. Zero complaints and would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you to the host for sharing this home with us!

Nice home in Colorado Springs

We enjoyed staying here. A private yard in a quiet neighborhood but still close to everything. The kitchen was among the best equipped I've seen in a rental. Plenty of laundry and bath supplies.Comfortable beds and furniture. Checking in/out could not have been easier.

Average rental at a good price.

The place was okay. It was very clean, but I feel the pictures were misleading. The kitchen was beautiful, but the rest of the finishings were not as nice as they looked in the pictures. The home was very old and had an odd smell, the beds were very dense memory foam that was hard and not very comfortable. The towels smelled really bad, and the smell stayed in my hair after I left. I had also planned to walk to downtown, but you definitely need a car. It's too far of a walk while wearing nice clothes. The highlights were the beautiful kitchen which was just as pretty as the pictures. Also, the owner was very responsive when I asked to check in early.

Cute little stay

This house is in the perfect location. It’s small but the host has done a nice job creating plenty of space to hang out. The bedrooms are very small upstairs but it worked great for 2 of us. Bed was comfy and kitchen was great!! Mark was also very helpful and communicated well.

My wife and I have two children and have lived in Colorado Springs since 1999. I was born and raised in Colorado Springs and this home has been in my family since it was built in 1900. We have had significant renovation done to it since we have owned it. Most recently we had the wood floors refinished and completely remodeled the kitchen. We hope you enjoy the home!

Why they chose this property

Very updated home with original wood flooring and original wood trim. Gourmet kitchen. Beautiful finishing and decor. 1-2 blocks to Colorado College and close to downtown and everything in Colorado Springs/Pikes Peak Region. Easy access to I25 means you can be anywhere in the Pikes Peak Region in under 30 minutes (most places 15-20 minutes).
