SIX FREE POOL PASSES !!

This elegantly appointed and spacious single-family home is in the only golf resort community near the small town of Bethany Beach, Delaware.

PLEASE NOTE: The property is NOT within walking distance to the beach as VRBO incorrectly states. See below. Also, THE PROPERTY RENTS FROM SATURDAY TO SATURDAY .

The kitchen, living room, and bedrooms have been extensively upgraded with new furnishings, appliances, and carpeting. The large bedrooms are deliberately furnished in a non-dormitory manner to ensure a comfortable environment. All four bedrooms have either 1 queen or 1 king size bed. Sit out on the expansive rear deck and look out over the 12th fairway and enjoy views of a pond! A Weber gas grill is there for your outdoor cooking needs. The clubhouse, swimming pool, tennis and pickle ball courts, and exercise room are only a short distance away. Rent a kayak in town and paddle around Salt Pond. If more activities are required, Rehoboth Beach (outlet shopping!) is just a short drive to the north along scenic Ocean Highway. Just to the south is Fenwick Island and Ocean City, Maryland which have almost unlimited shopping, restaurants, activities, boardwalk, etc.

This house was built in 2000. The wide driveway provides plenty of parking. The community is built around a golf course which provides a lot of open space and a quiet, resort feel. The kitchen is completely stocked with any items or appliances you might need. Come and enjoy the spaciousness and privacy that only a single-family home can provide!

PLEASE NOTE: Because the property is on a cul-de-sac at the back of the Salt Pond golf course community, it is NOT within walking distance of the beach. VRBO, not the owner, INCORRECTLY states a one-minute walk, and shows a general location based on Google Maps. You must use Google Earth (see last photo) instead to get an accurate depiction of the Salt Pond community location. The property address is 435 Canal Way West, Bethany Beach, Delaware 19930. It is about a 5-minute drive from downtown.

This was our second time staying in this beautiful house in Salt Pond. Just as it was last year the house is immaculately clean, the rooms are comfortable and the Salt Pond location is convenient to everything Bethany Beach has to offer. The owner of the property is a delight to deal with and is very accommodating. We highly recommend staying at this property if you are looking at Bethany Beach for your next vacation!

Another great vacation at Salt Pond

This property has everything you need, literally a 2nd home! Our family continues to enjoy staying here year after year. New carpet on 2nd floor and new bedroom set in front bedroom. If we don’t drive on beach we usually hang by the pool. Great pool!

This is a beautiful house in a great location. Our stay surpassed all expectations. The Salt Pond community is conveniently located for all the best things that make Bethany Beach a great place to take a vacation and we were blessed with gorgeous September weather. The house perfectly maintained with comfy beads. We were visited by deer every evening (they don't seem to be bothered by the golfers at all) and geese landing in the pond. Thanks so much !

Favorite Vacation Home

We have stayed here twice now. We love it here. I was late in make our reservations this year. We are so disappointed that we will not be staying in the year of 2023. The house is so beautiful and peaceful. It is not far from beach, stores, and restaurants. We used the pool and tennis courts. Perfect place for a family. See you next year!

Took sons and daughter in laws with the grand kids 9 year old loved the beach and pool and 2 year old loved the deck cause we put up a small blow up pool for him and we could enjoy watching him play in water. The house was big and clean and beautiful well kept up. You really are next to green on golf course we enjoyed watching them play golf also the deer and fox were great as well! Enjoyed front porch for mit ing coffee we will be back .

Not A Clean House!

Our family was very disappointed when we arrived for our family vacation. We booked it for a week. The house itself and location were nice but when we arrived inside it was filthy! We had to clean 2 bathrooms, the oven, floors, and a bedroom. When we went to make one of the beds we found urine on the mattress pad. We could not use that bed so two of my kids had to share a room. We contacted the owner and he told us that the cleaning ladies have three hours to clean 22 houses and the one that does his has a daughter who is sick with cancer, plus we decided to rent at the end of the season. We got so many excuses. He also mentioned the previous renters had pet rabbits with them and that’s why the floors had rabbit poop. The cleaning ladies had to focus on getting that taken care of before we came so they didn’t get to everything else . I told him I did not expect perfection but the cleanliness was unacceptable Even if we are renting at the end of the season! We are charged the same amount as everyone else. He said we’re just worried about getting some money back. We told him because of the bedroom and so many things that were not taken care of we should get our money back. He sent us a $30 check with a rude reply that took a month and a half to receive. Our family rents a beach house every summer and we have never had an issue like this. Ask about the cleaning procedure before you book your stay!

Home Away From Home

The front porch and back deck were so comfortable and well-used. Interior is very spacious and beautifully furnished. Two of my family members have homes in Salt Pond so I rented this house so I could invite additional family members. We had a great family reunion!

Good until the end

The home is as described. It is in a good location right on the golf course. Deer and a fox can be seen in the backyard or driving to the house. Some hiccups occurred during the week stay which we have not had even during the pandemic with other VRBO properties in the area. The pool was a huge hit for us all. The cleaning staff will be there prior to the 10 am check out so be out!! John is very responsive and so is the property manager Barry.

Great vacation location

2021 Vacation

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet in the development. Everyone was so friendly. The house was roomy and relaxing. Very beautiful home. Short distance to grocery store. Also a short drive to the beach and using the phone app for parking is such a great idea. You don’t need to leave the beach to put cash in meter. Would definitely rent again.

3 Generations on Family Vacation

My wife and myself (mid 50s grandparents), 2 early 30s adult daughters, one son in law, 3 elementary school aged grandchildren, one 1 year old and a baby 2 months old stayed at 435 Canal Way West for a week. Our daughter and her 10 year old girl shared the king bed. My wife and I took the BR with a queen bed. 3 grandsons slept in the room with two queen beds. Our daughter, son in law and the infant slept in the first floor BR/den. We enjoyed the deck, grill, long front porch and kitchen the most. The kitchen and grill got a workout from us since we cooked most of our meals for the week. We took many early morning or evening walks (before/after golfers were done for the day) and utilized the cart path. it was so convenient just walking out back, entering the cart path from the convenience of our back yard. In spite of the ENORMOUS protective netting along the back of the property, some golf balls managed to elude the net and hit the house during our stay (3 times this happened . . .that we know of anyway . . .probably happened more since we were at the beach or pool during the majority of the day each day). I would not let that deter you from renting this house, just beware that some golf balls may invade your space! The pool and fitness center were excellent and we utilized the pool with the grandchildren. Having Hockers grocery store and Liberty gas station at the mouth of the Salt Pond community was FANTASTIC and quite convenient. The kitchen was OUTSTANDING (VERY well stocked with everything you will ever need) complete with lots of storage, high end stainless steel appliances (5 burner gas rannge/oven, microwave range hood, quiet dishwasher, side by side Frigidaire). Terrific assortment of small kitchen appliances in the lazy Susan corner base cabinet.

Respectful neighborhood not rowdy , peaceful! Folks walking & bicycling. Golfers on golf cart paved trails utilized after hours by bicyclers. Short distance (1.25 mile) to grocery store by bicycle , 3.25 miles to the ocean beach and local stores. Local wild life deer; turtles, turkeys, blue crabs, local golf course water ponds. A short distance to all kinds of entertainment. The landlord couldn’t be better !
