About this property
Lakefront Midcoast Maine retreat-Damariscotta Lake
Welcome to our family cottage! This has been our family’s retreat for over 50 years, it was completely rebuilt in 2018. It was carefully designed as a modern family cottage-professionally decorated and stocked with quality linens and kitchen supplies. Relax at home with plenty of sleeping space for everyone-2 king masters with attached baths and 2 bunk rooms for the kids. The boathouse has everything you need to enjoy the lake-adult and child kayaks, stand up paddle boards, canoe, life vests, and beach towels. You can keep your powerboat at our dock. There are local options for boat rental. Enjoy your morning coffee on the screened porch listening to loons just steps away on the lake. Paddle the coves of the lake, fish off the dock, dig for clams along the shore, and roast marshmallows under the Maine sky. Explore local harbors, visit lighthouses, enjoy a lobster roll at a nearby pier, rummage for antiques at the village shops, and hike the rugged Maine coast trails. Our cottage is your home base for family adventures in Midcoast Maine. *July, August, and first half of September are one week minimum, Saturday to Saturday*
