The property is beautiful with frequent Loon sightings on the pond and humming birds feeding in the garden. There was plenty of room in the house for 3 generations to enjoy vacationing together.
The house is lovely - very clean and well equipped. We spent many hours on the deck overlooking the yard and pond, and kayaking. Proximity to Damariscotta and Pemaquid Point Lighthouse make it a great location. And Kathy, the house, manager checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Loved this house!
Kathy’s home is larger and more spacious than in photos - great for 6 guests.we enjoyed the swim out floating dock & large patio. Note-the AC is in the master upstairs bedroom & main living area only. Fans throughout
Spectacularly clean home, very spacious and bright on all three levels. The home is modern and generously stocked with household needs yet you still have the sense that you escaped civilization. It feels like you are staying at a friend’s house, not a rental.
Our three boys enjoyed fishing and exploring the lake. There are no houses directly across the lake so the view from the dock is pristine and peaceful. Easy drive to Camden, Rockland, Damariscotta, New Harbor and Pemaquid Lighthouse. Grocery store and farm markets close as well. We have nothing but happy memories of our stay. Kathy is the best host we’ve ever had in our many years renting in Maine.
Great location near downtown Damariscotta, easy walk to the lake, beautiful view. Spacious living area and open kitchen/dining with large deck wrapping around the main level. Can’t wait to return!
Beautiful, spacious and comfortable house. Exceptionally clean. Very well stocked. Gorgeous, very private setting. Well equipped kitchen (with the biggest lobster pot I've ever seen - and which we made use of). When we weren't in the lake swimming, we were on the large deck facing the water.
Pemaquid Pond is a lovely lake which connects with Biscay Pond, offering miles of boating. My grandsons caught several bass, fishing right off the dock.
The general area is wonderful, with easy access to grocery stores and other shops along with quick availability of the coastal beaches.
Kathy, the property manager, could not have been more available, friendly and accommodating. She answered my texts within minutes whenever I needed information. She was a wonderful host.
There is some poison ivy on the property, right at the tree line. I made Kathy aware of this and she stated intent to eliminate it. There is a broad, beautiful grassy area leading from the house down to the lake. Every late afternoon, a gaggle of geese arrives. They are interesting to watch but regrettably, they leave their droppings all over the lawn. I spent time the first day raking a corridor down to the lake so we could avoid stepping in it. After that, it only took a few minutes to rake to clear it from our path and away from the lake.
Overall a wonderful vacation and definitely recommend it.
The home was beyond what the listing shows! It's on many acres of land, set back far from the road and with gorgeous views of the lake. We stayed here on our wedding weekend, and hosted family and friends for getting ready the day of our wedding. It was so perfect to have the giant master suite on the 3rd floor all to ourselves, and the master bathroom was massive! We had 2 other couples staying with us, and their kids, and everyone had plenty of space. The kitchen was beautiful too, and a great gathering area. We wished we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the kayaks. The host was in constant communication and ensured we were comfortable throughout. We would happily stay here again.
The house was beautiful and spacious. The property was very well maintained and just steps from the lake. The host is as very attentive and helpful. I would highly recommend this rental!
Beautiful house on Pemaquid Pond with great views of the water, an excellent outdoor deck, and plenty of comforts inside and out. It was very easy to communicate with Kathy, the rental manager, and our family had a wonderful time at the house. We really enjoyed the lake given it was a particularly hot week in Maine! It's also very close to a lot of the major attractions in the area so it was nice to also be able to get out and do things. Would definitely recommend!
We stayed for a week in July and had a very nice stay.
The house is very nice and very clean. Kathy the property manager was very responsive and helpful. The home is well appointed with kitchen supplies and linens.
Overall we had a great trip.

Thank you Ron for your kind review. We were happy to host you.
This property has the WOW! factor. Drive up the long private driveway surrounded by trees over the ridge, the view of the open fields, the house, and the lake will take your breath away. Step into the house and you get the same reaction. Large like new spotless house on the lake with chefs kitchen. Lots of amenities for a very comfortable stay plus all of the midcoast attractions a short drive away. Kathy the property manager was great to work with and very responsive. You wont be disappointed.
