This place was perfect for us. The open kitchen and outdoor and indoor dining was a pleasure. Everything works, the beds and showers are great, and the sunsets over the water are amazing. We have family on Vashon and we came for a wedding.

We really enjoyed the views of Puget Sound from the balconies and above the rocks, as well as using the fire pit each night. There was plenty of space for our family in the upstairs and for sleeping arrangements.

This home was well laid out for a several generation family to stay comfortably. It was decorated nicely and well appointed with quiet spaces inside and out. The activity room with pool table and ping pong table were a huge hit too. The kitchen had all the necessary dish ware, pots & pans and silverware convenient in quantity. Grille worked well once we got it running. (Note: we own a similar grille. We enjoyed terrific weather and also the “Big King tide” cycle which provided a massive very sandy beach and hours of beach combing. To cap our visit off we had several gorgeous sunsets lighting up clouds and the Olympics. Lots of bird activity at dawn and dusk.We will definitely head back for another visit in the future.

The home had all the amenities we needed, plus some. The island has great hiking and biking and is great for those looking to get away.

Family getaway

The house is beautiful and spacious, and the beach is spectacular. Loved watching the ferries go back and forth and seeing all sorts of wildlife. So close to Seattle but a world away!

Great place on Vashon Island!

Beautiful home with great view! We were impressed with the rapid communications with the owner. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well-equipped. Great fun playing pool and ping pong.
