Welcome to your Anna Maria island retreat! This bright and breezy 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom home is the perfect spot for family and friends to kick back, relax, and soak up the Florida sunshine, just steps from the world-famous Bean Point, white sands and turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Under new ownership as of August 2025, the home has been refreshed with updated furniture and decor for an even more comfortable stay.

This spacious home offers a private pool surrounded by lush tropical landscaping and sits waterfront on Lake LaVista, with access to the Gulf, creating your own slice of paradise for kayaking or fishing.

Inside, the open-concept living area is bright and inviting, with modern coastal décor, a fully equipped kitchen with single cup Keurig and Nespresso options, and plenty of space to gather. A complimentary starter pack of coffee, creamers and a bottle of wine greet each guest, ensuring your stay gets off to a great start. Each bedroom is thoughtfully appointed for comfort and privacy, all with en-suite bathrooms. The main floor bathrooms each have complimentary argan oil shampoo, conditioner and body wash to make your stay more like home.

The house was beautiful and spacious. The outdoor pool area is large and provides a relaxing atmosphere. The hosts were quick to answer all of my questions. I would definitely rent this house again as well as other houses from this host.

Nice location on the island

Beautiful house

Great place to stay! Beautiful house with a pool. Spent a lot of time swimming and enjoying the house. Plenty of room, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. We really enjoyed the screened in porch and pool. Enjoyed a lot of meals outside!

Location and space, what we needed!

We enjoyed the house tremendously! The pool was warm, the access to the water was perfect. The house needed a power wash of the entire exterior, but they were about to do that when we left. The floors seemed a bit dirty, so I mopped again after a couple of days. We could of used a bit more towels, but I just washed during the two week stay. All in all, it was a great house!

Awesome Place!

Wonderful home! We loved all the out door space and pool and comfortable interior! Some heads up for mgt., ceiling light out and cover off in Master bath commode area, hair dryer doesn’t work in Master bath, light over stove is out, there is no can opener - weird, you have everything else! The outdoor sofa could use some cleaning, but we loved it and will look up Sato in the future!

Home away from home

We have vacationed in Destin annually over the past 4 years and being the time of the year, wanted to try out something different and warmer. Anna Maria fit that need perfectly. It is very family friendly and seemed very authentic with no real big chain restaurants. Being a family of 6, we always prefer renting houses. This property was perfect. Beautiful setting with the Bay right in the back yard. A two min golf cart ride from the beach...basically walking distance if we wanted to. This house is in a nice quiet cul-de-sac, so very minimal traffic or noise. Our family enjoyed renting some bikes and going for our daily morning ride. Will definitely try to rent this property again next year.

Just short of great

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The positives were definitely the location, a nice view, great pool and spacious bedrooms. We kayaked almost every day from the dock and loved riding our golf cart to the beach and taking daily walks in the neighborhood. The reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because some of the niceties you expect while paying a lot for a home were missing. The towels provided were the bare minimum (for the house and pool towels), there were no bath mats, soap, shampoo, curtains or much decoration in the rooms or bathrooms. It just looked a little stark. We have paid the same price and stayed in other properties with some nicer touches. Not sure I would stay again considering other places you could stay in the same area.

I do apologize there were not bath mats and soap, that is typically supplied by us, although shampoo is not. Thank you for the feedback so we can pass this along to the owners. Thanksgiving Stay

Overall the property is very good. When we arrived there were some items that needed some attention and the property manager came and took care of them. I will say overall cleanliness could use more focus. We had some bird messes, cigarette butts and dirty fans that needed to be cleaned up. These should be taken care of between stays on a regular basis. We did have a broken stair that had to be taken care of right away, two broken pool tiles and a TV that had a blown speaker. Again, the property team came and fixed the stair, tiles, and replaced our TV with a new one. These are also items that should be caught during routine safety inspections. A few things that could make the stay better are some Beach Items such as Chairs , Umbrellas and a Wagon. The chairs they did provide were broken or old. There was no umbrella or wagon. We rented those items. They could use more Pots. We wanted to cook pasta but there were no deep pots to do so. So we improvised as best we could. I also wish they had smaller fishing poles but there were some provided. Overall it was a very good stay and management team responded very quickly.

Christmas Family Vacation

This house worked out great for our family. It is well stocked with everything we needed to prepare Christmas dinner and all other meals. View was beautiful and pool was well heated. We rented a golf cart which was great for getting around the island and to the beach. The microwave stopped working on Christmas Eve day and a replacement was brought right over. We would definitely rent through Sato Real Estate again.

Disapointing

For the cost of this property per night I was expecting a property that did not require maintenance, was trouble free and a little bit of luxury for the 4 days I spent there with my family from the UK. Collecting the keys with no one to greet you was a little shocking. Upon arriving at the house I found the master bedroom curtains and rail thrown in the master closet, I had to call the emergency number as when I was called back I was told it could not be fixed on a Sunday. I insisted that we should not be expected to sleep in a room with no window coverings and a repair man did show up. The fridge had been turned down to 43 degrees by cleaners and we did not realize until the next day, unacceptable. Food was spoiling. The water filter in the fridge had obviously not been changed recently because water tasted bad and so did ice. So we had to make another trip out to purchase water and ice, unacceptable. The BBQ grill was beyond dirty, with at least 1 inch of fat or food debris in the bottom. The outside blind on the upstairs deck did not work. The listing stated that the property had games, only decks of cards were found, so no games at all? The upstairs twin bedroom was unbearably hot so we could not sleep in that room. And for a property we were paying $$$$ per night for we would of expected the toilet paper to be more than one ply!!!! The property has several maintenance issues and for the amount of money your paying these should all be taken care of. I hope the owners get to read this review and take some more time to fix these items as well as grout work needed on flooring, paint touch up and all other issues mentioned. Not a great experience for the amount of money we paid it was disappointing. Lastly I had sent 2 messages prior to arriving a few weeks before on the VRBO link to owner and never received a reply! why make this an option if your not going to reply????, I had to contact Soto to try to get these questions answered but because they do not know the property the answers were very generalized.

As a family run business we do close our office on Sundays to allow our employees to spend quality time with their families. From time to time there are maintenance issues that can occur at properties. Our maintenance technician was able to make it over to the property just minutes after your call to the emergency line to fix the down curtain rod. We spoke with you again about a half hour later regarding the refrigerator and asked that you give the fridge a full 24-hours to allow it to cool after filling with groceries. When we followed up with you the following morning everything was working properly. We do change water filters in the refrigerators as scheduled. We are surprised to hear that you had issues with the upstairs bedroom. We have never received any complaints regarding the cooling in this bedroom. Again, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered during your stay. - Sato Real Estate

Great vacation spot

Three generations under one roof and yet private if necessary. Close to everything and the weather was just what we wanted. We saw manatees swimming and ospreys fishing. The pool was adequate for eight of us. The cooperation and response from Satos personnel could not be improved. Thanks for a great family vacation...we will return next year.

Wonderful place

The property was clean and had all the necessary amenities. The views from the house were beautiful. Windows all around provided a panoramic view that was spectacular. Loved that each bedroom had its own full bathroom. The house was spaces and bright. The porch outside the family room was enclosed as well as the pool area with a screen, so we could sit outide without being bothered by insects. Would rent it again. Perfect for two families.

Spacious and comfortable!

Lake La Vista was perfect for our family. The screened in pool kept all the love bugs out and the view of the canal upstairs while having dinner was so calm and relaxing. It is so nice for everyone to have their own space and own bathroom. We will definitely be returning to AMI soon! Thank you!
