We loved our stay escaping the heat from home, and cannot wait to come back. It worked well for our whole family -part of the time with our two grandchildren who loved playing out on the hill and riding their bikes and enjoying the mountains.

We loved this property. It was our first time in Crested Butte and we enjoyed walking to the restaurants and shops of downtown but also crossing the street the other way and finding beautiful hiking trails. The home was well equipped, including things like kleenex, flash lights (just in case) humidifiers, kitchen supplies, throw blankets and more. We would definitely stay again and appreciated the manager taking care of any questions we had!

Excellent host, location is great—2 blocks to Elk, 1 block from town shuttle to mountain and next to Green Lake hiking trail. Fully stocked and equipped kitchen, lots of space and privacy. Will return!!

Great family vacation!

Coal creek retreat was a great place to stay in town. Easy walks to Elk Ave. Quick access to several hiking trails. The owners, Jeanine and Jim were super responsive and recommended great activities for our young family.

Perfect Location

This property had everything we needed to make our stay as homey and comfortable as possible! Plus the location is great; close to hiking paths and downtown Crested Butte. Nicest home rental experience we've had so far! Would highly recommend this property.

Great for Family Ski Trip!

The house was perfect for our family ski trip. There was plenty of room for all 5 of us to spread out. The house was clean and conveniently located and had everything needed to keep adults and kids comfortable and entertained. We can’t wait to visit again!

Little bit of Heaven

We were in town for a family wedding and this property was a great find. The location made it possible to walk to town very easily. The house was perfect for 8 adults, with a large living room and kitchen area. It is nicely furnished and very clean. The yard is perfect for relaxing and visiting with family. We plan to return to the area and will definitely try to stay here again.
