Nestled in between the mountains of Acadia National Park and the coast of Mount Desert Island sits the Misty Mountain Retreat. Our spacious three bedroom, one and a half bath farmhouse includes a large eat-in kitchen plus dining room that accommodates 6 comfortably, a bright open living room, and a sunroom with comfortable seating. Enjoy views of Bernard Mountain from our back porch.

Enjoy some of the hidden gems of the quiet side or take a short scenic ride to one of the many popular landmarks of Acadia National Park:
6 minutes to Long Pond swimming area and dock, where you can get on the water with help from National Park Canoe and Kayak rental just across the street or take a stand-up paddle board yoga class from Acadia Stand up Paddle Boarding
16 minutes to Bass Harbor Light House
25 minutes to the entrance to Cadillac Mountain
14 minutes to down town Southwest Harbor
23 minutes to downtown Bar Harbor where you can enjoy endless icecream parlors, trinket shops, and restaurants.

EV charging available from 10am-5pm at the Seal Cove Auto Museum, just a few doors down, about a minute walk from the house. You could also talk to them about the possibility of charging overnight but your vehicle would have to stay behind the locked gate of the property.

The perfect place for a sailor and an artist to settle down.
