This newly renovated mid 1800s New England farmhouse is a mere 5 minute walk to the Jordan River shoreline, or a 5 minute drive to the local beach, which offers swimming, shoreline walks, sunbathing, and picnic area On the way to the beach is Lamoine State Park, offering picnic areas, boat access, a nice playground plus, fishing.
The property is a scenic 15 minute drive to Mount Desert Island and a 25 minute drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

The farm house is located in a quiet neighborhood that gives one a good feel of the old New England charm of quiet days and easy growing-up.

Our farmhouse boarders the Jordan River, a tidal body of water. Looking for a piece of Maine you may not see elsewhere? In the tidal rivers it's not unusual to spot clamers or wormers digging for their respective finds to make a living during low tide. There is also a picnic table available near the water for your enjoyment.
The farmhouse is 10 minutes from Ellsworth which offers boutique shopping amid its old New England brick buildings, grocery stores, shopping, and restaurants.

Our Downeast area is known as a great antiquing destination, as there are many antique shops and country estate sales. Bargain hunters are sure to make a unique find.
