Ocean Antics is a remodeled 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home, just 3 blocks from the sands of Seagrove Beach.

Inside Ocean Antics find all the comforts of home. DirectTV in the living room, master bedroom and bunk room. Blue-ray player in the living room. Choose a movie from our family-friendly DVD collection. We also have a collection of books for beach reading. Need an inside activity for a rainy or lazy day? There are games and puzzles in the hall closet.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the tools you need for a home-cooked meal. Small appliances include coffee maker, blender, toaster, hand mixer and microwave. Full-size, side by side washer and dryer are located conveniently in the hallway. You'll also find some extra beach towels here.

The master bedroom has a king bed, large walk-in closet with iron and ironing board, two dressers, alarm clock and a flat screen mounted TV with DirectTV. The second bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk bed, alarm clock, comfy beanbag chairs, a collection of kid-friendly books, a television with DirectTV, and a floor fan.

This home is part of a 16-home development. Enjoy the community pool located steps from your front door. The lounging area is furnished with lots of chaises and outdoor dining tables. An outdoor shower is located on the pool deck - a great spot to wash off the sand from the beach! There are two charcoal grills to use under the pergola next to the pool. There are two parking spaces in front of Ocean Antics to use during your stay. The front porch has lots of room for your beach chairs and boogie boards.

Nice Stay

Overall, it was a nice stay in a quiet neighborhood. The beds were nice and comfortable. House is tastefully decorated and close to things. It’s not a dealbreaker, but the sofa and chairs could use a good cleaning. I would consider the walk to the beach accesses a little far, especially in the heat. Also, this house doesn’t have beach gear to use, which we knew ahead of time, but due to the added rental expense of chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc., I’d pick a different place to stay next time that provides those things.

Nice but needs a tune up

Our trip was marred by illness which is probably not the units fault, and lots of rain. Some burners on the stove don’t work, the microwave is horrible, the master bath toilet seat needs replaced or tightened, and the guest bath toilet runs after every flush. The furniture and floors could use a deep clean too. But generally tidy and well kept, the ac was cold and showers hot. Very cute decor- very beachy. A cart and chairs were there so we rented them for nothing- would’ve gotten bikes instead it the free golf was a fun perk that was enjoyed. We would stay again except we prefer the alys beach end of 30A.

Nice 30A Location

We really enjoyed our stay at Ocean Antics! We liked the quiet, private location away from busy 30A. We loved the house itself. It was all updated and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of linens and kitchen accessories. The washer and dryer were very nice. Parking was excellent. The beach access was decent. We recommend renting a golf cart and going down a little further west to the public beach access with a parking lot. Much more convenient than trying to walk to the recommended locations. We loved coming home after a beach day and cooling off in the pool. The cleanliness of the pool was my only complaint. It definitely needed a good cleaning. There were big wads of hair in it. We would stay here again. It would be the perfect location for multiple families to go and each rent their own house right next to each other.

Wonderful Location - Needs attention to (outdoor) biting ants and minor damages

I'll say this first. We will return 100%. It's one of our favorite locations and we love the house! As our 2nd year staying in the same home, we noticed that there was some visible wear on the home from the previous year. We made note of the damages and the owner was super helpful when we shared it. The only one that was a bit hard for us was that there was a little red stain on the master bedspread and pillow, but we were given a replacement very quickly. Finally, the biggest challenge we faced this year especially with small children was the major problem with the little biting ants that had completely taken over the driveway areas and the pool area. Our family and the two other families we were with that stayed in separate homes had so many bites on our feet by the end of the week. It was difficult to relax by the pool or eat / hang out outdoors because of this. We called to address it and they sprayed the outside of the home but said the pool was an HOA issue and would have to be addressed separately. If you choose to stay, I'd recommend calling ahead to make sure that they've sprayed for ants!

Awesome Place to Stay and in a Great Area!

This was a great place to stay in the Seagrove Beach area! A very clean, well kept house in a beautiful neighborhood. Very spacious, and has everything you need for your stay. Our group had 3 adults and 1 child, and this house was the perfect size for us. Nice neighborhood pool that was never crowded, and within walking distance to the beach and some great places to eat. Just far enough away from the main road not to feel too crowded or busy, but close enough to everything so that it's not a hassle to get where you want to go. Only a few minutes away from Seaside, Watercolor, and several other towns along 30A that are fun to visit, with great restaurants, and good shopping. The beach equipment that you can order with the credit that you get was awesome! Our order was there when we arrived, and it was great not to have to worry about bringing equipment from home. If you're using a wagon to transport your beach gear, the only thing that may be worth noting (and it's not a major problem at all) is that the nearest beach entrance doesn't have a place to roll a wagon down to the sand; we had to carry our wagon down the boardwalk steps. Not really a problem for our group with 3 adults, but might be for others. However, we discovered later in the week that there is another entrance a little farther down the road that has a ramp. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here, and would definitely consider staying at "Ocean Antics" again during a future visit!

Excellent Property in Perfect Location

Overall experience for Ocean Antics was incredible. The property is a great size for our family of four (plus a grandparent!). The pool seemed small in the aerial view photos, but it was the perfect size and most of the time felt like a private pool for my family! Easy drive the a public beach access (we chose not to walk since we had lots to take for kids). The only heads up we would share is that none of the interior doors lock (bedrooms or bathrooms) which proved to be challenging for changing and privacy with small kids that don’t understand the concept of a closed door! Overall would totally recommend this property and we totally plan to return next year!
