It is a beautiful well-maintained cabin with incredible outdoor space (fireplace, gated porch the dog could enjoy too, hot tub) and breathtaking views of the trees, mountains and stars at night. Our only hesitation about returning to Living on Mountain Thyme is the scary road the last few miles getting there. only had brief interactions as mostly online reservations, but the person I spoke with to get our directions sent to us was very polite and helpful
We came up for my girlfriends birthday. The place was as advertised. We were looking for something quiet with great to views. This place did not disappoint. After our daily activities it was nice to sit on the porch and just relax with the dog and here nature. Speaking of dogs the porch is awesome. We could relax outside with him and worry about him getting out as the porch and yard are fully enclosed with gates. If renting here I would advise as the owner says to have a 4wd drive vehicle. I will definitely be coming back.

We rented the Cabin called Living on Mountain Tyme.
We rented the Cabin called Living on Mountain Tyme. It was more than we expected. The details say they provide a starter kit so we took more supplies just in case. To be honest, they provided much more than that and we were surprised. This is awesome. The cabin is well taken care of and smelled fresh as soon as we walked in. There is a TV in all the rooms with Direct TV. OMG and the beds must be Memory Foam. I love these beds. Now for the drive...It is a drive that will grow hair on your chest and although we did not have a 4WD vehicle, it made it up the mountain easily. We have a Chevy Equinox and it made it good. Just keep momentum up the hills and go really slow going down and you will be ok. Take it easy, you are on vacation, no rush. The employees in the call center were always helpful and always available on call. I actually got a little scared on the last leg of the mountain and the maintenance man Drew and Blake came out and ensured we were safe. We are enjoying our stay and looking forward to booking again in the future.

Living on mountain time Thank u for letting us bring our dogs.
The cabin was exceptionally clean, inside and out. The furnishings were fine. We were a little taken aback by the road in which was a 6 - 8 mile per hour drive, dodging the pot holes and ruts.
