The house was perfect for the ones that have trouble getting up and down stairs since all living spaces were on one level. Very well furnished and comfortable furniture. Thank you so much for a great time.
The property was as described BUT the refridgerator smelled like dead I had been in it. We couldn't use it. other than that everything was good

Response from Cozy Cherry Log Cabin ~ 10 Mi to Mercier Orchards on 23 Oct 2026
Thank you for staying with us, Dawn, and for such an honest review. We're glad the cabin matched what you saw in the listing and that everything else worked out well. We're sorry about the refrigerator odor. We learned about it when you arrived, and we immediately ordered a brand new refrigerator and had it delivered and installed during your stay, so you wouldn't have to go without it for the entire trip. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we got it taken care of. We hope you enjoyed the mountain views and a relaxing evening in the hot tub, and we'd love to welcome you back to Cherry Log.
This was our 2nd visit to this cabin. We came back for many reasons. The cabin is spacious, very comfortable seating for everyone. Comfortable beds, ample outdoor seating. The roads are all paved and the driveway was easy to get in and was spacious. The area was perfect for walking the dogs. It was so peaceful that we didn’t even use the fenced part of the yard. This is definitely one of my favorite cabins. The owners are really nice and responsive to inquiries. We really recommend this cabin.
The main living area was very clean and perfect for what we needed. The porch was the best place to hang out and read books and enjoy the view. We even saw a mama bear and her babies! The fire pit was unusable due to the overgrown weeds. And the hot tub was very dirty with brown dirt. Neither of these were game changers for me and I still enjoyed a wonderful week at the cabin!
We weren't able to use the fire pit due to it being overgrown with weeds and 1 outlet behind the king bed didn't have cover on it and was hanging out of the.box. we had a couple small kids with us and we're concerned about that.
We thought this was a great value! The house was well stocked with everything we needed- paper towels, toilet paper, etc - and the kitchen was great for cooking. We loved our morning coffee on the front porch (the coffee maker has conical filters!). The view was beautiful. The location was convenient - feels remote without being too far from a main road. The path to the fire pit and the fire pit area was overgrown with large weeds, but that would be our only complaint. The host was lovely and provided timely and helpful information. I would definitely recommend this house!
Wonderful views. Cabin is nice albeit a bit dusty. Well stocked for cooking. The drive up the mountain is harrowing but well worth the trip. There are other cabins around but spaced out enough for privacy.
The view from the deck does not disappoint. They have gated the deck and put in a fence around the cabin which I thought made it much safer with pets although we didn't bring ours. The location is less than 15 to Blue Ridge. The drive up and down is a little scary but manageable with a regular car/SUV. Scary only that the width can't accommodate two cars passing while both are moving. We had easy communication with the host the whole time, which helped when finding the hairdryer!!
The setting was peaceful and cozy. The views were amazing and the neighborhood was quiet! The drive up is a good incline but the road is paved so no problems. The kitchen was well stocked. We had a couple issues but they were addressed immediately and professiinally. We would stay again!
