About this property

Cozy Cottage at The Cabins

A one bedroom cottage in historic Westbrook, a quaint shoreline community on the banks of Long Island Sound, halfway between New York and Boston. This fully furnished cottage features 1 bedroom with queen bed (can be changed to 2 twins for a slight fee), 1 bathroom, living room and eat-in kitchen. Included are satellite TV, WIFI internet, Chromecast for casting from your phone, washer/dryer, and air conditioning. Also included is a beach pass allowing the guest the same beach parking and access privileges that all Westbrook residents enjoy.

The cottage is located at The Cabins directly on US Route 1 (1881 Boston Post Road) and within easy access to shops, dining and water activities in the immediate area. Maximum occupancy is 2 persons. Pets are welcome, however since we strive to maintain extremely high cleaning standards for everyone, pets require special disposition. There is an additional cleaning fee, and we limit pets to one small or medium sized animal. If you are interested in bringing more than one pet or a large animal, please contact us beforehand to make proper arrangements. Please note that if you bring a pet and do not pay the cleaning fee in advance, you are subject to forfeiting some or all of your deposit.

Off-season extended stays are negotiable. Stays of 5 weeks or longer always receive a discount - please contact us for more info.

After getting used to the horse chestnuts falling from the tree and hitting the roof we loved the place! Clean, very clean! Quiet inside. Mattress comfortable, but the springs under were bouncy. That's the only thing I would change, but we still slept well. It had everything we needed. Lots of hot water, good shower pressure. The kitchen had good pots and pans, which was appreciated. And a washer/dryer!

GREAT PLACE!!! I spent two weeks here as I had to be in the area for a business obligation. The cottage was immaculate and appears to have been recently redone. The AC works great when needed. The lovely beach is a five-minute drive and you are provided with a pass. The owner is a very nice guy. Can’t recommend the place highly enough (and I’ve left some very cranky reviews in my time).
