Mountain Views, River Frontage & HotTub + Country!
Cozy cabin on 7.5 acres with 3 other cabins with river frontage on the beautiful Shenandoah. Your hot tub is in a private pavilion just around the corner from the cabin. Great mountain views out in the country with lots of stars. Perfect!
Plan to relax away from it all! The cabin is out where you can see all the stars at night. Don't forget your eggs and bacon as it is a 17 mile trip back to Luray, and 7 miles are gravel road. So just plan to stay and chill or not--in the hot tub!
There is now limited WiFi at the Paddler cabin and very limited at the Drifter and none at the Angler--sorry-- that is shared by both cabins for checking emails, light browsing but no streaming videos. Hughesnet is just not doing a good job. You can walk down to the Paddler and connect but will not make it back up to the Angler. Sprint-T-mobile work but other cell phones might not.
The cabin has a queen bed room with a propane stove, the living area has a double bed futon, Direct TV and the mini-kitchen area. The loft has a double bed. We provide pillows and bedspreads but not Linens and Towels which would be extra at $25/bed/visit but we are not renting them during COVID. You will need to bring your own. Pets are $15/pet/night.
Below the cabin is a picnic table, fire ring and charcoal grill. Across the 7.5 acre field is the driveway to the river frontage and boat landing (#20). There is a fire pit there too. Great fishing.
The cabin is on 7.5 acres along with three other cabins which share the river frontage/landing (#20). Shenandoah River Outfitters uses this private boat landing. Plan to reserve canoe, kayak, raft and tubes trip with us, Shenandoah River Outfitters, for lots of river fun between April and Nov 1st.
We have a two-night min stay on weekends, one-night min during the week. (3-nights on holiday weekends) We offer special 4-day mid-week rates and week long rates.
Plan a longer stay and explore Luray, Luray Caverns and the Shenandoah National Park--great hiking. Do some shopping and catch dinner before driving back out to the cabin and the hot tub!
We email you directions to the cabin you reserve along with the lock box code. These cabins are on Page Valley Rd, which is north of South Page Valley Rd.. Safe travels and hope to see you soon....

The cabin and property are amazing. The river is a short walk from the cabin and absolutely serene. The locals are kind and welcoming. Couldn't ask for a nicer place to relax and reconnect with mother nature.
The Shenandoah outfitter cabins were just what we were looking for-a dog friendly, nature-focused stay! Cabin was very clean, quaint, and well supplied for a short getaway, and a scenic drive away from the National park!
From the quick reply from Nancy every-time I had a question, to the beautiful way they kept their property I give them 10 stars. The cabin was cozy and clean. The hot tub my personal favorite was relaxin and kept clean. The land scraping was picturesque and well maintained. The river was calming and exciting. I only have nothing but nice things to say about our little hide away stay. We loved it and-will be back. Thank you Nancy, Lisa and the crew for your hospitality.
Stay was great. The cabin was clean and cozy. Communications w property management was great. The walk to the river was beautiful, and close The view of the mountains was awesome. 5/5 stay.
Great space, secluded hot tub. Neighbors were close yet felt a bit secluded due to trees dividing cabins. Beautiful views !! River was close and the morning fog was amazing !
The property is beautiful and it is a nice quiet getaway with great proximity to town/Shenandoah for hiking. You do have do drive a long ways down a dirt road but it only adds to the remoteness. It was a great size for two people and the hot tub was lovely and clean. The property managers were very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!
The cabin was in impeccable shape, wnd provided just enough room for me and two friends to spend the weekend comfortably. About 45 minutes to the Thorton gap entrance of Shenandoah and the cabin is about 30 minutes down the river itself. This cabin provides a reclusive getaway while still being near some of Virginia’s biggest attractions
We loved the tranquility of this place. Nice relaxing evenings in the hot tub. A nice short walk to the river and fire pit. Definitely we will be back.
Cabin is super clean very comfortable. Enjoyed the views, the quietness and the hot tub. Bedroom with gas stove is super nice kept whole cabin comfy.
One thing that was odd was the “sulfur/rotten egg”smell of the water. I don’t know if that’s common for well water in that area but it was quite interesting.i did reach out to point of contact and made them aware
We had a great time! Walks by the river, smores at the fire pit, hiking, and finished off with the hot tub! The cabin is clean and spacious with no creepy crawleys!
I'd love a colander added. Don't forget kitchen towels with your linens and towels.
Such a great stay!
Location, amenities were all great, but the tap water was incredibly sulfury to the point where we skipped showers and boiled water to drink. It lingered in the cabin after we did dishes. There may be a filter that needs to be changed or cleaned.
The hot tub was fantastic and so was the rest of the cabin. The river was beautiful and it was great to have a fire and then enjoy the hot tub.
My wife, son (3yrs), and I stayed at the Angler Cabin for 3days/ 2nights. The description was accurate and cabin was well looked after/ clean. Directions were accurate (Google Maps was able to locate property no problem) and we were well prepared with some food/ drink supplies so we could make sure of the small kitchen. The road leading to the cabin is truly 10-15min of near off-road driving so winter condition could play a huge role in someone's stay by my 4WD truck had no issue. We spend a full day in Luray going to the local coffee shop and then brewery to play games and relax. Then we ordered take away pizza from the local Italian joint and headed back to the cabin for a movie night. All in all it was exactly as expected and we enjoyed our stay completely.
