Really awesome location right next to the beach. The kids loved the balcony overlooking the water. Communication was great. It doesn't have the newest furniture and could be slightly cleaner but for the price, location, and communication, it was a great time.

Building itself looks pretty old/ beat up. Target shopping carts are their luggage carts. No lobby or really any common area. Location is awesome!! The lagoon and grassy area makes it all worth it. Unit is just okay. Windows/frames rattle with the wind. Shoved qtips in them to “fix” it. Balcony any could use updating. Beds small and noisy.

Great Views and excellent communication

I stayed 6 nights in the penthouse. Such incredible views, the lanai & pool were my fave places to enjoy on property. Swimming with turtles at Carlsmith & Richardson were highlights. The condo was well equipped with extras, such as shampoo, sunscreen, condiments & spices. I never lacked for anything. The communication with Damir was excellent and he was incredibly responsive to my texts.For the price, this stay is beyond expectations! If renters plan to explore this side of the island, Hamakua Coast, Botantical gadens, waterfalls, Kilauea and the Aloha spirit, an excellent rental.

Epic Views Conveniently Located & Peaceful

The condo has the most amazing view of the Carlsmith beach park beautiful trees and lagoon as well as Manta Kea in the background. There is also a beautiful fresh water pond across the street. There is a gate you will have a key to that goes to the lagoon, where we saw about 5 large sea turtles per day. Bring water shoes. The pool was warm and always empty. The inside of the condo isn’t air conditioned but there were many fans and there were great windows for a good breeze. If you can turn the fans off at night you can hear waves and crickets. It’s like a real sound machine. The upstairs is roped off for o net storage but plenty of room

Cleanliness was great, we completely understood and appreciated the tiny quirks that come with condo living directly on the ocean.The views from the lanai and master bedroom are both incredible it was nice to see the expansive visual the condo lanai positioning offered including the ocean side over to the opposite side of the street creating a beautiful watch point for the park, ocean and entire area we spent most our time out on the nicely covered patio just enjoying the sites and sounds loving it!Our host Damir was great always responding to anything we needed quickly and professionally.The pool water was clean and refreshing, we took a dip but spent most our time in the park, snorkeling, sunning, our absolute favorite were the local area turtles these are some of our best pictures and memories, we viewed them regularly.

Great location, inside not as expected

The location of this property is absolutely perfect. The distance to the beach was incredible. However, I would not go as far as saying it could sleep 6. The futon and couch were covered with a sheet and the fabric under them were disgusting, as well as the futon itself is broken and won’t even pull out into a bed. While the kitchen and flooring and bedrooms were updated the size looked much larger in the photos. While we there in the summer, the house itself was extremely hot and only has one fan. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of cooking items for everything you might need. If it weren’t for the great location I would have reviewed this property for lower stars, especially for the price.

Great Location

This condo is located, in my opinion, one of the best locations in Hilo for a family. The lagoon in front is a great place for the family to swim and play, plus the local turtles are fun to watch. The only issue was there wasn't really the room for 6 persons like advertised. We purchased a cheap air mattress from Walmart and made it work. The property manager, Mindy, was great and attentive to any issues. I appreciated her assistance. The location can't be beat.

I had previously lived in this building almost continuously from 2010 to 2018. If you love the beach as much as I do, the location is unbeatable, especially given its proximity to downtown Hilo.
