Nicely appointed fully furnished San Francisco Bay Area rental. Charming style with Oak plank floors, skylight, plantation shutters and garden patio. Garage is now included with the unit in March!
This extra garage space would allow for parking or storing the personal items in your remodeling or relocation stay!
Walk to all fabulous downtown Walnut Creek restaurants, theater, park, market, park and Iron Horse Trail. Public transportation a block away includes bus, free trolley and walk to BART location. This is a charming, cozy, family friendly home in a great location. We stayed for a month. The host was great, very responsive. She was available to handle any questions/issues that arose during our stay. We would gladly return next time we travel to Walnut Creek.

Perfect location - cute place!

This property had plenty of space, located right next to downtown Walnut Creek and a block away from a huge grassy area by the creek. Very enjoyable place to stay!

Charming and close to everything

Don’t sleep on this charming property if business or pleasure takes you to Walnut Creek. It’s within walking distance of a great park, restaurants, the library. Very quiet and comfortable. The hostess was accommodating and communication quick and clear. The property itself is absolutely lovely with a beautiful outdoor patio to sit and soak up the sun with your morning coffee. Or sipping an evening beverage. We will definitely return to this little gem!

Ideal Location in Walnut Creek

VRBO is a wonderful older home with refinished hardwoods and charm. Unit has private patio and interior feels more spacious than photos give credit. Is located on a dead-end street with park at end of street, creek walk, and is in very close proximity (walking distance) to restaurants, shops, library, etc. Owner is personable and we will stay here again.

Cottage near downtown district

We hosted our son and his girlfriend for thanksgiving at this delightful property a short walk from Walnut Creek’s downtown district. The unit is private and cozy and included a small courtyard shared with second unit that we found charming. We also enjoyed strolling to nearby Civic Park and downtown shops and restaurants. Host was responsive and helpful. We were grateful for driveway parking space but honestly our guests were able to find street parking on the same block whenever they needed. Kitchen well equipped. We did not use laundry facilities but this would be very convenient for longer term guests. At time of our stay there was construction next door but this will not always be the case.

Really Nice Cottage in a Great Location

Overall our stay was really great and will likely stay here on future trips. The place was really nice and a perfect setup for me, my wife, and two kids. We even had some family come over one night and hosted dinner. It's located just a couple blocks outside of downtown Walnut Creek. So it was an easy trip to the grocery store and super quick to get onto the freeway and on our way to our plans for the day. Holly was very pleasant, helpful, and responsive when we had questions. The neighborhood was fairly quite, despite being just outside downtown. On street parking is super limited. When we had family come over, we just moved our car from the one off street spot to make sure they had a place to park. I had to park about a block away. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Nice little house; great location

This unit is the front half of a small house in Walnut Creek. It has a living room with two-person sleeper sofa, dining area, kitchen, small master bedroom, very small second bedroom, and one bathroom. It's an old house, but it's in good shape. One huge advantage is that the host allows daytime guests. We had some relatives over for a family lunch one day, and surprisingly there was enough room for everyone. The home is roomier than it looks. :-) To sleep six people, you have to move a twin bed from the garage into the very small bedroom. That takes the rest of the available space in that bedroom. It works, but if you need lots of space, you should look elsewhere. The location is beautiful, convenient to downtown Walnut Creek and a bike/pedestrian trail. The neighborhood is nice, mostly apartments and condos but a few old houses like this one. The front door latch and lock are old fashioned and a little tricky, but our host talked us through how to work it and avoid locking ourselves out. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay in a beautiful location for a good price.

Charming Cottage

This lovely cottage in the heart of Walnut Creek is a quick stroll to the Library, park, and downtown eateries. With 1930’s charm the house is spacious enough for a small family, including an outdoor patio and access to a laundry room off the kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would rent again when we are in town to see local relatives and need a bit more space.
