We are dismayed to hear where your stay fell short and look forward to the opportunity to investigate why these issues occurred as they are not representative of our high standards. Our homes are routinely deep cleaned in conjunction with weekly cleanings. We take every opportunity to share guest feedback with owners, and will be certain to follow up with your thoughts on the beds and other concerns. Unfortunately, the OBX Palmettos are present on East Coast beaches, even with rigorous treatment, as they are attracted to the water. Hi Carrie, Please accept our sincere apologies for the unacceptable condition of the home you rented from us. During the pandemic, our phone lines and inboxes have, at times, been overwhelmed by Covid-related inquiries and concerns, which has led to cleaning and maintenance gaps than are not at all typical for our generally very professional teams. Please know that your concerns are our concerns. We are all working hard to catch up, reply to every message, and resolve all issues.

We do provide a welcome bag on the kitchen counter that includes a trash bag, a roll of toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, some soap and detergent to get guests through their first day, but realize that goes quickly.
