Welcome to Canyon Trail Resort! Beautiful & private detached single family home perfect for a relaxing retreat. The backyard is a true desert oasis with a huge green space and large pool. Sun or shade, this house has it all. Great layout for a warm vacation vibe and relaxing with friends and family. You ll love the lush landscaping and tons of seating/lounging areas for every taste. Lots of outdoor games and pool toys provided. Great Dining, Parks, Hiking, Shopping, Tennis & Golf all close-by.


Welcome to beautiful Canyon Trail Resort! This house is a short distance to endless shopping, delicious food and fun adventures. Your vacation home is on a quiet cul-de-sac but close to all the city s action--great restaurants & shopping, hiking trails & parks and endless desert activities. This home is not in a gated community so self check in is a breeze!

The property was wonderful and the pool was awesome. You couldn’t get me out of the pool. The sleeping pillows were not comfortable but that is the only downside of staying there.Easy access getting around placesI would definitely recommend for people to stay there

The manager was very friendly and responsive. The house was clean with everything in order. We spent a lot of our time in the backyard: in the pool, in the jacuzzi, relaxing in the sun and playing games. Very easy check in and check out! Great property and great management

The communication and responsiveness by the owners was prompt and appreciated. The property was as shown in the pictures. The backyard is a great space to spend time. The large grill was clean and in great shape. We enjoyed our stay in the Indio area, close to shopping, hiking trails, and restaurants.

The golf holiday

When we lay down on the beds there was enough dust as you can see your body imprint on the bed we also have to supply our own propane that wasn’t delivered

Doug, as you recall from when we allowed early check-in that the cleaning was done that morning. The BBQ is natural gas powered so the propane was not required. Our apologies for not having any available, we would have restocked had we been made aware.

Michael, that goes both ways. I know you were disappointed to not have access to the garage (which our listing quite clearly state) that said leaving your furniture, your dogs droppings and checking out hours late is completely unacceptable. Your dog wasn’t even listed on the booking. Highly disappointed with the guest quality.

Great location and home was as good as described by the other reviewers and description vrbo. Only thing that was our mistake, that the house we chose was pet friendly. It didn't smell or anything like that, but one of our teenager had to sneeze a lot, because he has some pet allergies. He didn't break out anything. We all had great exprience, we enjoyed the pool time and the hot tub as well. We were able to sleep nine of very comfortably. I recommend this house with Five Stars to visitors of Indio/Palm Springs/Joshua Tree/ Coachella

Planned a little getaway for my family. My main concern was if the pool would be clean on a Tuesday? I was booking midweek. This was the only property that told us it would be clean for us to use. After confirming with the owners I decided to book. Once we arrived the pool was my first concern, so I had to check it out immediately. Upon approaching I realized it was dirty, mucky, and filled with bugs. I contacted the owner and within a couple hours, a pool man knocked on the door and told us they had reached out to come check out the pool. Even the pool man agreed it was not clean, so he took care of it. He ensured after a couple hours we will be able to use the pool. Thankful he got it cleaned or else I would have been let down. I would not have let anyone swim in that pool in that condition. So I am thankful they took care of it. Also happy my dog was able to join us. Pet friendly! Yay!Next the sink in the kitchen had a foul odor like it had rotting food, so we had to clean that up as well. Some dish soap and hot water did the trick. FYI bring your own paper towels and trash bags, although the trash can had one bag including bathrooms and kitchen with one roll(lots of TP) we went to the local market to buy extra so be prepared! Zero bag refills. Buy ice as well. The fridge is outdated, you cant trust that ice. Also A/C doesn’t get cold in the house, stays at 75. All in all it was nice swimming with the family for a few days. Quiet neighborhood too.

Below average property in Palm Springs

We had multiple issues throughout the stay and while I appreciate they have a property management company monitoring messages and doing what they can to help, overall it was not a relaxing, pleasant experience which is the goal of any vacation but especially one in Palm Springs. If you're looking for a place for bachelor and bachelorette parties then you will likely not have any complaints, but anyone else I would encourage you to look for other properties in this price range. The house is just really run down with many things broken or inadequate (e.g. dirty towels, broken fixtures, holes in furniture, milky pool). It’s clear the owners do not invest to keep the house nice and in good working order. Also note, they do not allow garage access (important for electric vehicles) and will turn the A/C up in the middle of the night. When this type of $$$ is spent on a vacation a higher standard and cleanliness is just the right thing to provide. Finally, they use cameras to monitor your stay and if you do not leave exactly at 11am checkout they crank the heater up to heat the house and get you out...that was a first!

Fun stay!

I had a blast staying at this location. It’s close to a lot of stores and restaurants which was nice. The pool is beautiful and roomy for a large group, inside was clean and spacious. The refrigerator would work on/off but I messaged Sarah and Kevin who fixed it asap by bridging us a spare fridge which worked great! Would recommend.

The property was very clean and well maintained. We truly enjoyed the pool and easy to use spa. The master bedroom was very comfortable. Keven and Sarah are great hosts and I would definitely recommend this place.
