Ione Captains Cottage With 3 separate BEDROOMS Close to Town. Centrally located.

Captain’s Cottage is a tastefully decorated three bedroom, one bathroom furnished cottage located in a quiet and peaceful residential area in Ione.
A few blocks away is the town of Ione. It features a laundromat, food market, pizza, and restaurants.
We are close to the Ione Castle that towers over most of Ione. Nearby are Plymouth, Jackson, and Sutter Creek, as well as many wineries, Castle Oaks Golf Course, and Black Chasam Caverns.
Our own captain loves Lake Amador, Lake Pardee and Lake Camanche all located here in Ione
******Looking for an extra Queen bed and bathroom? *****Reserve 8 guests and the Captains Quarters will be opened for you. (fee applies).
We have a home full of towels, and blankets.
There is a small library of books on the subject to enjoy.
Internet and Roku for your viewing pleasure.
BBQ your favorite dinner or sit back and enjoy the delightfully decorated patio.
3 separate private bedrooms that have silky smooth cooling quilts in the summer and warm cozy bedding in the winter. A max of 7 people at all times. 2 day min. 14 days stay max. Allowed
A fully equipped galley (kitchen) .
And toiletries in the head (bathroom).

The Captains Cottage is available to you with the exception of the attached bedroom that has its own separate entrance.
The garage is also not available.
The three bedrooms, front room, kitchen (galley) and patio are all private and for your personal use.

We live here in Ione and are happy to welcome you to the Captains Cottage.
We are delighted to provide information on the many activities located throughout Amador County.

We are located in a quiet and peaceful residential subdivision.
Your respect for the location and neighbors is greatly appreciated.

Children should be cautioned due to a outdoor rock garden and fragile model ships inside. Children must be attended at all times.

We do have outdoor cameras to monitor the perimeter.
Total of 8 people (of all ages) allowed at all times.
Minimum stay is 2 days Maximum stay is 24days.
Service dogs must provide a service as well as documentation before check in.

My sister was getting married down the street at the heirloom Inn. So we decided to book the Captains Cottage and what an amazing stay it was! Lidia made everything so easy from checking in to checking out. The house is so well kept and has so many amazing details. Wonderful VRBO in Ione

My friend and I booked this property to go wine tasting with our two daughters. It is a super cute house, very clean, and well equipped with everything we needed for a fun getaway. We even received free tasting passes for two wineries, which was above and beyond what we expected. We all had a fantastic time, watched Jaws for the 50th anniversary of the movie in the living room, and loved the super quaint back yard.Thank you so much!

A Great Place to Stay in Ione!

This place was perfect for my sister, her daughter, and myself when we came to Ione to visit other family. It is located near some very nice shops and the property manager was very attentive. The name "Captain's Cottage" is well earned as there is a nautical theme in every room! And don't miss the octopus in the garden (especially at night). I would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to an opportunity to where I can return.

Horse Show Retreat

I competed in a horse show only 20 minutes away in Rancho Murieta and was relieved coming back to a super comfortable bed with a beautiful backyard patio. It was a nice quiet location which was a great change from living in San Francisco!

Highly recommend

Everything about our stay was easy and just as we hoped for. The check in and check out was such an easy process. The host even made sure we had a battery pack in case the power went out during a wind advisory. The home was very clean and organized and she even provided a few snacks and everything we needed for coffee in the morning. We were there for a wedding in town and it was nice to not have to worry about the rental and just focus on the wedding.

Such attention to detail!

This lovely house is located in a quiet neighborhood. The property is clean and well maintained, but the thoughtfulness of the host is what sets it apart. All the toiletries, snacks, a book of things to do, coupons for wine tasting... And the backyard is a wonderful spot to just sit enjoy. Although we didn't have kids with us, the kids books, toys, and outdoor activities were a really nice touch.

Our circumstances of having to stay at this VRBO were under complete stress, but Lidia and Joseph made our stay very comfortable and under the circumstances they allowed us to have our fur babies with us and we didn’t have to board them. We had a glitch with the a/c unit, I messaged lidia and Joseph was there to fix it 5 minutes after messaging them. Their communication is impeccable! The kitchen was well stocked with all that we needed. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean which is a huge thing for us. If you have an event to attend in Ione, ca I highly recommend you reserve this quaint home. You feel at home.

A restful charming place

My husband and I spent three nights in Ione. My only regret is that we had such a short time. This place is perfect for anyone who wants to explore the surrounding area. There is a lot to see. Don Luis Mexican Restaurant was just what we needed the first day for a yummy early dinner. The Captain's Cottage had everything we needed. Leeda went out of her way to make sure we were content. The home is in a wonderful quiet residential neighborhood with a lovely backyard for conversation, brunch or reading. The positive reviews can be believed. I will return anytime we are in the area.

Joseph and Leeda are happily married for over 50 years. Joseph worked for an aerospace company in the bay area and Leeda has trained German Shepherds. We have raised our children in Ione and are the founding members of the California Gymkhana Association District 27 of Howard Park. (Gymkhana is timed events on horseback.) We love the wide variety of things to do and experience here in Amador County and we look forward to sharing them with you.
