So clean! Easy ride to Ricketts Glen. Bed is hard but we were so tired from spending the day hiking we hardly noticed. Some reviews about the house across the street, but it isn’t that bad. Bedroom had its own heat/air system. Take a fan if you like sleeping with one, plenty of outlets in the bedroom. We would definitely stay again.
This is a clean, cozy, trailer home with some thoughtful amenities I wasn't expecting from the host. I was looking for proximity to Ricketts Glen and this was a great last minute find. For a couple people just needing a place to sleep it's perfect, it's pretty isolated. Be clear on directions here because you may lose routing once you get closeand street signs are a bit confusing, at least the way I was being routed. Very dark stargazing area and the only neighbor was quiet by my early bed time. There is no TV and pets are welcome.
The bed in the master bedroom is uncomfortable but the place as a whole is amazing and the location is perfect super cozy, just needs a tv and a better bed
The house was well maintained, host provided k-cups and creamer for the keurig, cearal and milk. The house was close to Ricketts Glen Park and local restaurants. The only issue I had is with the neighbors across the street burning garbage. That is a smell that lingers. Unfortunately the property across the street is an eyesore to staying at this place.
Stayed for one night during a long road trip. This was a great place and we wish we could spend more time. Spotless and well equipped with little thoughtful surprises. Very pleased even for a short stay.
Very clean and close to Rickets Glen. Very quiet . We enjoyed ourselves , had a great time and enjoyed the food in the area. . And loved we got to take our fur babies with us. Place could use a TV or at least a radio. And be warned about the place across the street. What a waste of a place that could be beautiful.
We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was clean, cozy, and exactly as described — if not even better than the photos. Ben provided detailed information ahead of time, which made everything smooth and easy. He also thoughtfully prepared snacks, fruit, and beverages for us, which we truly appreciated.
The cabin was immaculately clean. The host provided breakfast food and snacks. A keurig coffee maker was provided and cups and tea bags as well as sugar packs. Soap and dish soap were provided. Towels and linens all very nice and clean. We had our small dog with us and plenty of space to walk. The town of Benton as not far and had a small grocery store that had all your needs. A washer and dryer were on site. The host was very easy to communicate with and responded immediately. This property was as advertised and better. My husband and I would recommend this cabin. The state parks are close by so lots of hiking is available. I would highly recommend the Ricketts Glenn Hotel for lunch or dinner.
We had the most wonderful stay here. The accommodations were top notch! It was just far enough away from town for some peace and quiet, but close enough for any needs. We will absolutely be returning!
