We had a lot of fun at the cabin and on the water. We also enjoyed popping over to Ithaca to enjoy the art scene. The cabin was great, and the hosts were very kind.
We really enjoyed it. It was exactly as advertised. The detail in the communication was exceptional. The cabin was clean, had the right amount of everything, and the wood for the fire pit was a huge bonus. We would absolutely stay there again. Thanks

Clarity of Vrbo description
Specifically thought it was lakefront, it was not, cabin is 4 cabins away from lake itself. Pictures were deceiving, looked like we had a dock to our own, not the case. The smell was unreal (not in a good way) odor inside cabin was similar to a port-o-potty, shower head was broken so had to wash with cups and bowls, and the bed was beyond uncomfortable, you will need to bring a topper with you 100%, and even then you’ll be seeing your chiro and masseuse. Bring your own linens, air mattress. There’s doors in every room which makes security questionable.

It was disappointing to receive this review, as your notes left in the cabin did not indicate any problems. As indicated, we provide 24/7 maintenance, and if you had had such a miserable experience it is unclear as to why you did not mention it when we spoke to you on the property. It was our understanding from that conversation that you were having a lovely weekend.
For clarity, the doors (all with locks) are legally necessary for providing means of egress from the units. Guest safety is a very high priority.
Finally, all of the photos are accurate of the unit and updated on an annual basis. As the other reviews demonstrate, this is a very popular cabin.
While we appreciate constructive feedback, we hope that you take an opportunity to be more honest and upfront with hosts in the future. The VRBO community of hosts are overwhelmingly working hard to provide happy experiences. Best wishes in all your future adventures.
We had a great experience staying in cabin 5. The location was perfect to the surrounding wineries and breweries. Great hiking nearby as well. Cabin 5 was very clean. It was nice having a big grill and our own fire pit. It is more private than the other cabins which was nice. It is on the lake but you have to go down stairs to get there. Overall, an excellent stay!
We really enjoyed our stay. Checking in was simple with no contact involved. The cabin is rustic, but clean & comfortable! The kitchen is well equipped & having the grill & fire pit was great. Loved the dock & use of rowboat! Although the inside of the cabin was very clean, the outside could use some sprucing up, i.e. sweep porch, clean out cobwebs, clean the windows.
My husband, our two children (ages 3 and 1) and myself enjoyed our stay. The cabin is simple yet had all of the things that we needed! The kitchen and appliances were great (stove top but no oven but there was a small toaster oven that worked perfectly well)! The view from the beach was great and it was amazing to have access to kayaks/canoes. All of the supplies (linens, towels, and soap/dish liquid, and paper products) was very helpful. The property owners were very easy to contact and although we didn't need anything I felt as though they would have responded very quickly to help with anything that they could. The space heaters kept the cabin nice and warm (we were in the high 40s/low 50s at night for October). We were also pleasantly surprised by the cell phone service and direct tv/wifi (while we did tons of things outdoors with two little ones being able to watch some tv in the evenings and knowing that we could use our phones was a plus). Would stay there again if traveling to the area.
The owners are so genuine and friendly and take great pride in providing a relaxing experience. We loved the cabin and the view of the lake. Our puppy also enjoyed it 🧡
