Experience the best of South Bethany Beach in 2026! Book now to stay in our private 4-bedroom single-family home on the canal with a dock and deck in the rear. 2 king & 2 Queen Beds! With recent upgrades, including new leather couches, all new mattresses, computer monitor(s) w/HDMI, an induction range, refrigerator, dishwasher, dock swing and a gas fire pit, you'll have everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Our cozy home sleeps 8 and offers off-street parking for up to four cars. It's located just 1 1/4 blocks from the beach and the seventh house from the Atlantic Ocean yet on a canal to the bay side of coastal highway. You'll be close to popular destinations like Bethany Beach, Fenwick Island, Dewey Beach, Rehoboth Beach, and Ocean City.

Take a short walk 1 block walk to some great food options like the New Big Fish/Rosenfeld’s Jewish Deli, Misaki Sushi, Grotto's Pizza, and more. Boating enthusiasts can bring their boat to our 23' dock or rent one (bait & tackle 1 block south) and enjoy fishing and crabbing right from the dock. Kayak rentals/deliveries available from Coastal Kayak. You can also relax on the private deck with a gas grill, gas fire pit, spare tanks, table & chairs, umbrella & Adirondack chairs.

Our second-floor screened porch has a view of the canal, dock, deck and fire pit. You can also access Little Assawoman Bay and Assawoman Bay, including Fenwick Island restaurants like Catch 54, Harpoon Hanna's, Papa Grande's and all the way to Ocean City and the Atlantic. The canal also provides access north to Indian River and Rehoboth Bays, including Dockside's Marina Bar at the inlet and the restaurants of Dewey Beach.

Outdoor audio/video security recording provided by Ring on the front/rear. Linens provided but not towels/soap. 7-night minimum in the summer and 3-night minimum otherwise year round!

We have been going to the Delaware beaches all our lives and purchased this property in 2004. We rent it some and use it the rest of the time.

Why they chose this property

It has one of the best locations in the area. Sure you can have beach front but the nearest marina is 5 miles away. On the other hand most homes with a dock and quick bay access are far from the beach. In this area beach side is only one block deep, a few blocks north and beach side is 2 or 3 blocks deep and bayside is 3 to 6 blocks deep yet further from the bay. This also means more people on the beach in those areas and a longer walk! Just the perfect spot.

What makes this property unique

In our town to get to the beach you need to walk or park using a parking pass (we provide). The only way to get a pass is to own property (or rent from the owner). At first this doesn't sound like a big deal, but it is. To access the mile long South Bethany Beach you must own or rent a property. So our beaches are uncrowded even in the peak season. Unlike other crowded towns that anyone can park and go to the beach. Skip the crowds and rent from us!
