Wonderful house for our needs. I would definitely rent here again for an event. Very close to downtown, wonderful architecture and spacious. Communication has also been great as well. Awesome stay.

The host was very responsive to all are needs and very quick to respond house was beautiful and very clean was a little worried about the neighborhood but no issues at all have to say got good under the bridge and was some of the best food we had all week

It’s a beautiful house in an up and coming neighborhood. Location was great, able to walk downtown and all point of interest. We didn’t use the driveway but having a dedicated place to park is definitely a plus.

We rented this gorgeous historic home for our destination wedding in New Orleans. The house was perfect for the size of our group who traveled with us. The house is really beautiful with an amazing kitchen and spacious rooms. We read the reviews about how it is right next to the highway and can be a con, but we can handle road noise, and it didn't deter us from moving forward with the house. I wish the reviews included that vendors made camp directly across the street under the highway underpass early in the afternoon. They then blare extremely loud music all day and into the night...until 4am. The music was so loud, it rattled the windows of the house, and we measured the decibel reading to be over 102 dB. Needless to say, no one got any sleep. My fiancé called the owner every 15 minutes until he called back. Fortunately, the owner and the property manager worked with us and found a big enough property that we could move into the next day. It was in a quiet neighborhood and was even more perfect and beautiful than the original rental house. The whole ordeal caused us to reschedule plans with guests and rearrange some reservations we had made early on with guests who traveled for our wedding. But once we moved, we all got to sleep through the nights and enjoy the house, the town, and most importantly, our wedding. It is unfortunate that this house is located where it is. Between the homeless, the druggies, and vendors, I would not recommend renting this house.

It is a beautiful, really cool house with lots of space, and it is very easy to get to all the main stuff in New Orleans from there. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with.

Amazing House

I recently stayed at a fantastic VRBO in New Orleans with family & friends, and it was an unforgettable experience! The property was beautifully maintained, perfectly located near vibrant hotspots, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The hospitality was impeccable! We had people coming from 3 states and arriving at different times due to various airlines issues and the host was beyond accommodating!! Highly recommended

Ten family members stayed for a long weekend to attend our daughter's wedding. The house was clean, the kitchen equipped, and the neighborhood convenient. It's an architecturally interesting old house. We enjoyed being able to walk to many activities and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful and clean

This house was gorgeous and very clean! The property manager responded quickly and clearly to any of our questions. We were able to park two cars in the gated driveway. We used Lyft and Uber to get around. We had a blast! Can’t wait to go back!

We come to New Orleans for the history and the home definitely knocked that out of the park. A beautiful historic building just blocks off the French quarter. Be advised it’s in an area that’s noisy at night on the weekends but I feel that’s to be expected near the quarter. Host is very communicative and available if needed.

The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the house was clean. The staff was very helpful and assisted us quickly in regards to parking. The neighborhood was loud in the evening- both traffic and people. We will use this service if we return to visit.

Close to down town. Lots of character! Great communication. The area is a little concerning if you have kids. It faces an overpass. Many homeless in the area. Lots of activity at night. Don’t suggest going out at night. However, we didn’t experience any issues and the manager was very responsive.

Mardi Gras 50th birthday

We stayed 3/2-3/5 for my hubs 50th birthday. The house was fantastic. So much space and personality. The only issue was the outside noise. We didn’t go to NOLA to sleep so it wasn’t much of an issue. We walked to the festivities with no issues. The house was great! We’d definitely stay here again!

The house was beautiful and worked great for our group of 9. The only downside was the neighborhood. It was right next to the freeway and was in a very bad area of town. Very noisy at night making it hard to sleep well. Other than that we had a visit

What a great time we had!

The Claiborne house was super cool for us to rest our heads after long days & nights in NOLA. It is old so you need to get comfy with the traffic noise outside, but that was just a small point for us. We had 6 gents that could get comfortable, spread out, most having their own room. The beds we comfortable and everything was as advertised. The property owners were very communicative and clear, which made everything easy.

Beautiful historic home

This is a gorgeous home. It is situated in the historic Treme neighborhood. Be aware that there is a lot of activity on Sundays around the location. It is bussling and noisy, but usually calms down by 11:00 pm. The upstairs can get warm, but is comfortable enough. You do have a great parking space by the house with a gate.
