Gîte de la Truffière, heated swimming pool and jacuzzi

Gîte classified 4 stars in 2019 by the Ministry of Tourism. Heated saltwater swimming pool in operation from 01 June to 30 September 2024. Heated Jacuzzi in use from 01 April to 31 October 2024. The entire house and all its facilities are for your sole use during your stay. Beds are made on arrival, towels provided (one large and one medium towel per person). Welcome to Périgord Pourpre, in the heart of the castles of Monbazillac and Bridoire, the bastides, the vineyards and the gastronomy of Périgord. The gîte de la Truffière is an authentic, old and charming Périgord house. The strong points of the gîte de la Truffière are its absolute peace and quiet, with no traffic (the road stops at the gîte); a large shady terrace, its pool and open-air jacuzzi with views over the Périgord countryside; a signposted hiking trail starts directly from the gîte and takes you as far as the medieval village of Issigeac. An ideal holiday home to recharge your batteries. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 of which have 160cm beds. A sofa bed is available on the mezzanine floor, as well as a baby chair and an umbrella bed. 2 bathrooms, one of which is equipped with a whirlpool bath and Italian shower, and 2 WCs.
A spacious dining room with direct access to the terrace. There is a cosy sitting room and you will also appreciate the small relaxation area next to the sitting room with a view over the countryside. The kitchen is fully equipped (induction hob, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, etc.). Upstairs, there is a bedroom with 2 single beds (90cm) and a bedroom with a double bed (140cm). There are also reading and games rooms, bicycles and a table tennis table. The terrace gives you direct access to the swimming pool and jacuzzi. The nearest village is Bouniagues, 2km from the gîte, where you'll find a variety of shops (grocery, bakery, restaurant, beautician, etc.) In the neighbouring village of Issigeac, you'll enjoy good restaurants and a popular Sunday morning market selling regional produce and excellent local wines (Monbazillac, Vignobles du Bergeracois, etc.). We will be entirely at your disposal and wish you a pleasant stay.
