The Cabin is small, but the description in the listing is accurate. The place was clean and the location was beautiful. The hot tub was clean and in very good condition. We would go back.
This house was perfect for a little weekend getaway. It was stocked with everything I needed and I enjoyed nights in the hot tub and days on the dock. There paddle boards and kayaks and the lake is nice and quiet. Would highly recommend for someone wanting a lovely, peaceful retreat.
We stayed here for our 20th anniversary and we had a wonderful time. The Property is older, but very well maintained and comfortable, and it has a beautiful view, right on the lake! Wonderful hot tub, generous deck, nice kayaks & peddle boat! The property owner, was hospital! Would Highly recommend!
The accommodations were fantastic. Super clean and quiet area. The house was lovely! We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and having the outdoor speakers was an awesome touch! The host was so gracious about travel issues we had. Will definitely be booking again in the future!
The property wise beautifully situated, right on the lake. Wonderful views, visible from both the inside of the cabin, with it’s large windows and sliding glass doors, as well as from the spacious deck and hot tub. Check in was easy, and everything was clean and neat.
Great place to get a COVID change of scenery! Lake was lovely to sit by and decompress. Hikes near by were awesome. And local to-go-options for food were really good. Best was the cabin's simplicity and toasty hot tub! Imagine a summer here would be quite a vaca! Warren was a great host.
Had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend getaway at the cabin on Deer Lake! The cabin is so peaceful and quiet and very comfortable. The hot tub overlooking the lake was a wonderful way to both start and end each day! Will definitely be back!
This was a lovely cabin to get away to for a few days. We came in November, so the lake was quiet. Everything was so clean! the space is small, but flexible. We used the cabin for a work weekend. The wifi was solid. My phone didn't get great service, but that was okay. I would definitely recommend.
Owner was communicative, easy to work with, and helpful. The cabin had everything needed for several nights stay, plus many extra little touches. We really enjoyed the hot tub, kayaking around the lake, the propane fire and lights out back.... Plus checking out a few towns and sights around the island. Looking forward to returning!!
Warren's home feels like your own family's cabin. With all the outdoor toys available, it is sometimes hard to choose how to spend your time! The house is quite basic, but comfortable. Warren was a very accommodating and communicative host. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing lakeside escape.
Great experience for a family of four (boys age 9 and 11)
We did all the water sports and swam in the warm lake, with all the island fun of Whidbey just a short drive away. House is on the sunny side of the lake and we just soaked it all in!

Wonderful relaxing lake vacation!
This lake cabin was the perfect place for our family of four (2 boys, age 9 and 11). We were able to book a last minute getaway during Covid and were happy to get away from our house and relax! The cabin is small and rustic but VERY cozy, clean, and well stocked. It's exactly what a lake cabin should be. The boys loved sleeping in the loft (which is open to the cabin). The water activities also made it so much fun, we loved exploring the lake on the paddleboards and kayaks. The dock is perfect for jumping off and swimming and the lake is comfortable. Add in the large deck and hot tub and this place is amazing! There was sometimes noise from the neighboring public access park but it never bothered us. We can't wait to go back!
This was really, really perfect to get the kids and myself out of our house and enjoying SUMMER before it’s gone. The lake was perfect for swimming (not freezing!) and kids could jump off the dock all day (and did). Lots of kid-friendly hikes nearby, and hot tub was a big hit in the evening. This was such a lucky last-minute find and we really appreciated the opportunity to stay here!
We are a family of 4 with school age boys, age 6 and 11. We had an amazing time at this lake house/cabin. My boys LOVED it here. It was so nice to get away and feel like we were worlds away from home but not travel very far. Things we loved about this property: we were alone with private lake access, there were so many provided toys for the lake for us to use such as a pedal boat, 2 paddle boards, 2 kayaks, and fishing gear, and there was a clean jacuzzi. The outdoor space was amazing all around and just what we needed. The indoor space was as pictured and what we expected from a cabin or lake house. No complaints at all. I was impressed with how much was provided by the owners. The lake was gorgeous and we had no issues with neighbors or public park users nearby but be aware they are there so you are not hidden from the world but you do have your own space if that is desired. We loved our stay and hope to come again in the future for quick getaways especially during this isolating time.
Watching the sunset from the hot tub was the best!! The amenities were also a bonus. The kayaks, pedal boat and paddle boards were great!! The lake itself was refreshing and relaxing!! We wanted to explore Whidbey more than we did but found it hard to tear ourselves away from the cabin!!
This little cabin isn't luxurious, but it's just right for a comfy escape! We loved everything* about it - the deck, the wonderful sound system, the grill, and especially the hot tub! We loved lounging in it after we put the kiddo to bed and watching the bats swoop around over the lake. The owner was a wonderful and responsive host. We would definitely come back in a heartbeat.
* Okay, hosing the baby down in the shower without a handheld shower was a bit tricky. But in the week we were there, I think that's the only thing we ever found to wish for that wasn't already there :)
The house is small, but comfortable for a small family. Beautiful view of the lake! Neighbor is extremely rude. (Watch Out) Shower is very small. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. Tons of towels. Toilet seat was sticky and gross. Owner blamed it on us and charged us for a new toilet seat. The septic tank over filled and we had no water for 24hrs. We were out on the lake and a storm came in extremely fast. Thunder and lightning scary heavy rain. We were using the canopy to use over the hot tub because it had been raining some much. When the storm came in the wind pick up the canopy and broke it. We had no time to react and take it down. ( 60 dollar canopy) The owner charged us 100. We were also charged for having to clean the jacuzzi. We stayed 4 days with no instruction on keeping it clean. You would think that would be cleaned after every guest anyways? We were also blamed for the kayak seat being broke. The kayak seats were never attached to the Kayak. That’s how they were when we took it out. We were also charged for that. The owner said we left the house a disaster! Not true one bit! We clean and vacuum the place before we left. He had asked us not to wash the towels or the bedding because of the septic tank. So we didn’t. The Fishing was great! Over all we had a great time! But being charged for all those things was ridiculous and not right!
Spent two nights in this cute cabin to get away from the busy city life. The owner made the rental process super easy, and we had a great time enjoying grilling and the hot tub. Would definitely recommend!
