Spacious master bedroom offers a king bed and bath with oversized jetted tub and walk-in shower. Downstairs has several more bedrooms with attached baths. A beautiful 2-story interior waterfall adds beauty and comfort. Elk & deer galore! Walk to RMNP.

Cannot beat this VIEW! The home sits high in Windcliff Estates, one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in Estes Park. Travel perfectly maintained roads to this ultimate vacation cabin. Just a short walk into Rocky Mountain National Park. Park in the 2-car garage or under the portico for easy access (just one step up) into the main floor. Plenty of parking in the driveway too. The gently sloping oversized lot is great for kids to play outside in the summer or sled in the winter. Perfect spot for a small family reunion or church retreat.

Main level/Upstairs:
Walk in beside the TWO-STORY WATERFALL that flows down a wall into a small "pond" below.
LIVING ROOM with lots of comfy seating, 14-foot wood ceilings with massive log beams.
Floor to ceiling windows with expansive view of the continental divide. Arguably the best view in Estes Park!

DEN just off the living room has more seating, an antique piano and another TV for games.
MASTER BED/BATH is on the main level. King-size log bed. Desk. TV. Walk-in closet. The bathroom has a big walk-in shower with rails and a shower seat available. Or soak in the jetted tub.
The COVERED DECK spreads the full length of the house (over 50 feet long) with lots of hand-made rockers to enjoy that phenomenal MOUNTAIN VIEW!
Also on the main level: The LAUNDRY ROOM with a front-loading washer and dryer and a MUD ROOM with plenty of hooks to hang your coats.

Downstairs/Walkout
Walk downstairs beside the waterfall, then take your pick from multiple bedrooms with king beds that each have private access to the back porch. All of them share the view of the mountains. There are 2 jack-and-jill baths, so each bedroom has its own sink/toilet and shares a tub/shower.

It took several years to find the perfect spot for our family vacation home. Lots of wonderful memories have been made here. Spectacular views on a beautiful porch

Older dad stayed on the main floor with his own bathroom, the rest of us went downstairs. Everything was clean, well organized. Parked in the garage with our truck and it was perfect. TVs and fireplace were nice. Good heat in the house. Did I say the view was amazing. Close to everything Estes Park. I would stay there again.

A beautiful retreat with a wonderful view

This home was perfect; we only wish we could have stayed longer! We were a family of 8 adults, from a senior citizen down to a 23-year old, and we had plenty of room to gather when we wanted or have separate space when we preferred that. The spacious kitchen was well-equipped, the main sitting area was so comfortable, and the ample outdoor space (porch above and patio below) gave us plenty of ways to enjoy the mountain views.

Family First!

Our adult children and grandchildren gathered with us to enjoy a wedding weekend. The aspens were aglow and a snowstorm was a surprising delight with the gold highlighting the snow...and it was magnificently in view from this home. The home is appointed with every amenity you would ever need. It was very comfortable and well designed with a thoughtful layout that allows for privacy and community. Memories were built that will last a lifetime. We are very thankful for this experience!

Overall this is a nice facility. The management team we worked with was great and they made the check in process very easy. The view from the balcony was very nice and the pictures from the site did a pretty good job of showing that.Where there was a little disappointment was with the general condition of the unit it's self. I read in another review that the facility needs a deep clean, and I would also support that statement. There also needs to have some maintenance updates performed as well. There were a number of cabinet doors and drawers that would not close not to mention some of the built up dirt on the drawers themselves, especially the silverware drawer. The remote to the living room ceiling fans was very dirty and was held together with grey duct tape. The driveway has weeds growing up through the cracks between the different sections. The inside of the trash compactor has not had a good cleaning in quite some time. There is also a very nice ice machine in the laundry room, only to find out that it does not work.My thought is if you want to charge the price that you do and market it as a high end unit, you need to provide the cleaning and maintenance of a high end unit, and I don't believe that part has been done very well.As a whole, our group was able to look past my nit-picky areas and did have a nice time, it is a great place for children and family, it just needs some cleaning and maintenance.

Beautiful home!

The house was perfect for our family! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms smartly laid out. Our daughter is in a wheelchair so the one step entry through the garage was perfect. She used the master bedroom which is on the main floor. The bathroom was very big and had room for her to move around and even got her in the shower. The porch is great with all the nice Adirondack chairs and view.

Great Family Getaway

Our family rented the house for a birthday celebration and RMNP visit in November. We all love to cook and the kitchen was a fabulous place for that. 5 or 6 folks could be prepping and cooking and we didn’t get in each other’s way. The layout of the rest of the great room provided places to sit and read, play games, and just take in the wonderful view. All in all it was just a great place to hang out.

Mountain Experience

Great lodge type house with an excellent balcony view. The kitchen has anything you need. There were only two of us but the house can accommodate many, many more with private bedroom/baths downstairs. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you.

Our family fell in love with Estes Park 40 years ago. After years of visiting and searching for the perfect spot, we built our Rocky Mountain dream home. Enjoy this family home as your own. This has been a place for many wonderful gatherings over the years. It holds a special place in our hearts, and once you visit you will understand why!

Why they chose this property

Walk directly in Rocky Mountain National Park on almost private, seldom used trails. Enjoy sunsets over the mountains while sitting on the back porch. It's common to have elk bugling in the backyard in the fall and all the mountain wildlife on occasion. Experience easy access on well maintained roads. All within a short drive (<10 min) to Estes Park downtown or the RMNP main entrance.

What makes this property unique

**We require a signed rental agreement as part of the booking process.**

The Waterfall and Pond is an amazing and unique feature we want you to enjoy. However, please note that you are responsible for the safety of your party around the pond. Small children must have supervision around pond area. The pond cannot be drained upon request. You assume all responsibility for safety of party in regards to water feature and agree to indemnify Owner from and against liability for injury to Guest or any other person occupying the Rental Property resulting from any cause whatsoever. Misuse of a pond by the spilling of foreign substances into the water, i.e. soap, shampoo, oils, glass or metal will result in a Service Call Charge.
-The Packnplay is not kept on site and must be requested in advance.
-Parties, weddings, receptions, etc are not allowed.
-4 vehicles max, 4WD is recommended for reservations in the winter.
-There is no A/C in the home. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan.
-Packages cannot be sent to this home.
-We have adjusted our rates to make this house a bit more accessible for smaller groups. The nightly rate may vary depending on the number of people. Be sure to enter your total group size to get accurate pricing.
