The house is perfect! This is our second time staying here. We love it because of it’s close proximity to the lake, southern tier brewery and distillery, and Wegmans!The kitchen is well equipped and there are plenty of towels and health and beauty aids to get you through the weekend.We look forward to our next day!

Another great stay, as always

This is our second stay at this location (and 4th or 5th on Chautauqua). Our kids demanded that we come back to the same house for its great dock, proximity to ice cream, and overall relaxing vibe. We had an excellent time and can't wait to do it again.

Great place for a relaxing getaway

Beautiful views from the master bedroom and the living room. The weekend we stayed was a rainy fall weekend. and we loved playing cards, drinking coffee, enjoying the views with our college age daughter and new born.

Would definitely stay here again!

The house was great and exactly as described. Right on the lake, with a great dock, kayaks, and yard games to enjoy. Better yet, it's right across the street from a fabulous ice cream stand and less than a mile from a world-class craft brewery. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Wonderful Lakehouse Vacation

This is the second year we have enjoyed a vacation at the Blue Heron Lakehouse. We really enjoy everything about it. Clean, delightfully decorated, so many amenities, right on the lake with 2 kayaks included (bikes also although we didn't use). Such a restful place to enjoy Chautauqua Lake.

CHQ Family getaway

Enjoyed our stay very much. House worked well for our extended family of 7. Covered deck was a hit when the weather changed. Frequent visits to Bemus and walks to the ice cream shack made the week complete.

Wonderful home with fantastic lake side views

We enjoyed our stay and amenities. We explored the area. We visited several local museums, hiked trails and climbed rocks, golfed, explored Presque Isle , tried out the SkyCoaster in Ellicottville , kayaked, read books and rested. Great location for a launch pad into Western NY and North PA. Lovely rental opportunity.

Great lakefront home

Wonderfully maintained well appointed. Kitchen well stocked. Included lots of towels and linens. Crib is great place to tie up boat. Excellent location close to shopping. Ice cream shop across the street was frequently visited. Owner was very attentive to our every need. Really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent as Always!

We just feel so at home at this property! We enjoyed all of the upgrades! It was particularly nice to be greeted by you and your husband! Bringing our daughter and son-in-law’s boat proved to be even more fun, and it was well protected during a couple of the thunderstorms we encountered.

Thank you for the ooportunity to host your friendship circle. It is unfortunate the weather wasnt idea for enjoying the lake, indoor/ outdoor games, kayaks and bicycle amenities. There is so much to enjoy in the area such as comedy museum, Lucille Ball and Desi Arnez museums, Chautagua Institute classes and lectures. I have extensive tourist brochures in the cottage. I encourage all guests to enjoy the free Netflix, Hulu and Prime tv streaming or feel free to log into your own on 65 inch smart tv. I look forward to hosting you again on a sunnier summer week. Beautiful home

The house is very clean, nicely decorated, beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed. My only suggestion is an additional comfortable chair in the great room. We had a lot of rain, so watched TV more than we would have normally, there were 6 of us so someone had to sit on a dining chair.

Lakewood lake house stay

We had a wonderful time this past week. The Lakehouse was clean and so comfortable. We loved everything it had to offer. Best lake View, clean access to swimming, kayaking , great dock for sitting and fishing… beautiful fire pit…we sat out quite late enjoying the lake. We all sleep well…best ever! Enjoyable Stay

Twice-proven this is a great place to stay. The covered patio and bikes were a very nice addition this year! Plus having an umbrella on the dock picnic table provided needed sun protection. Very nice owners! Appreciated the communication as needed. Love the sunrise and sunsets. The property is so close to anything you could possibly need. Looking forward to year #3 at this very welcoming home.

Awesome Vacation at This Lake Home

This lake home was delightfully decorated. It was great to be right on the lake with a private dock. Enjoyed the kayaks and the hammocks. So many amenities provided for guests. We brought a lot of items which we didn't need because they were provided! Lot's of thoughtful touches in this home. Elizabeth was very responsive to our questions prior to our visit. We definitely plan to book this home again.
