Very charming and calm home to relax in after a day of exploring Kyoto! The western-style bed was extremely comfortable. Being so close to Kiyomizu was a huge plus. Would definitely stay here again!

Our family of four spent 7 nights during July in this beautiful home in Kyoto. The home is every bit as lovely as the pictures and was cleaned immaculately. The host provided great communication and recommendations for the area. Located in a quiet area in Kyoto, we would definitely stay here again - beautiful, comfortable, and convenient.

We traveled to Kyoto for the first time with our son, wife, and our 16 month old grandbaby. We stayed three nights in this quaint house. We were so close to shops and restaurants, the location was perfect. Communication with the owner was great and our questions were answered in a timely manner. The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed for our stay.

Our family of 4 had a lovely stay at Acco’s property. We loved the beautiful details of the traditional Japanese accommodations with all of the modern comforts. Perfectly located on a quiet side street to take advantage of eastern Kyoto landmarks in the early mornings and evenings. Communication was easy and clear. Would 100% recommend!

Our stay in this charming Kyoto home was outstanding! The location was ideal, steps away from the iconic streets of Higashiyama ward and a short walk to the train station. The home was beautifully appointed, with traditional foundations and all of the modern amenities for comfortable living. Beds are comfy, water pressure is strong and laundry is included. We would recommend staying here 100%!!

Beautiful home. Very clean. Very quiet. Great location- walking distance to Kiyomizu-dera and very accessible to many parts of Kyoto. My family and I (five adults)stayed for 7 nights. We used the well stocked kitchen for breakfasts and late night snacks and used the washer/dryer several times. Acco, our host, was very friendly and helpful. She left clear instructions on how to use the appliances ( A/C, water heater, washer,etc) and forwarded lots of information on restaurants around Kyoto as well as shopping markets close to her home. We had a very enjoyable stay at Acco’s home in Kyoto.

We didn't meet the host, but communcation via email was excellent, and the instructions left in the house were perfect. The location was second to none, the beds were comfortable and the small kitchen had everything we need to prepare dinner after a busy day sightseeing. We really enjoyed our stay in this quaint, Japanese style house.

Excellent location and comfortable stay

The location is perfect for exploring the eastern part of Kyoto. The home is comfortable and has AC, which was really needed because of the hot and humid weather during our stay. Our host was extremely helpful and had great suggestions for places to eat.

A lovely house

We so enjoyed our stay at this lovely traditional home in the center of all the Kyoto activities! It was perfect for our family of three! We had plenty of room and all the amenities of being at home while away from home! It is a definite return to spot for us!
