At the Beach, Large Eco House & Pool
Peaceful, large private home with ocean view AT THE BEACH! Spacious 2-story house with 3rd story look-out tower, 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms. Large view windows, tiled throughout, tiled wrap-around patio and pool area, private path to the beach. Our backyard leads straight down to the beach and breaking waves. Ecological construction: built with tile, bamboo, concrete, wood & glass, clerestory roof designed to cool itself in the tropics, fresher air, fewer toxins, clean & healthy space. In addition to 3 bedrooms we have an extra twin bed in the common area.

My spouse and I started visiting Tamarindo , Costa Rica when it was a tiny town in 1995. As Tamarindo boomed, we decided to build our own home in a mellow & secluded area.
Why they chose this property
We built the home with the natural environment of the tropics in mind. It stays cool and breezy. Playa Negra, Los Pargos, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Gated community of Caramar. Secluded & peaceful area, the last house south along the beach - few cars, little development, helpful and kind locals. A short walk along the beach to Hotel Playa Negra. International Airports: LIR 1.5 hour drive, SJO 4.5 hour drive.
What makes this property unique
We have a local host who is American and fluent in Spanish who knows all the best delights of the season. Each season brings a different variety of beauty: monkeys, butterflies, rain, sun, tide pools.
