David and Barb are owners of Tongue Creek Ranch. Tongue Creek Ranch is a hay and alfalfa farm with 8 horse stables. In the late fall you will see cows grazing the 70 acre ranch. David is a retired firefighter and now manages the Tongue Creek Ranch. Barb worked at Douglas County School District and is now stepping into the role as hostess of the three on-site VRBO rentals. We welcome you to enjoy the beautiful setting of Tongue Creek Ranch and explore the sights of the Western Slope!

Why Barb chose Delta County
Tongue Creek Ranch is a peaceful place to un-wind. We encourage our guests to walk around the 70 acre property as long as they stay clear of livestock and/or feeding any of the animals on site. Visitors may also pet the horses as long as the owners are available or can arrange for someone to be with them. We have a professional horse trainer on site who welcomes anyone to watch him work with the horses whether in the arena, the round pen or in the stables. For an additional fee (if available) he might even sign you some songs around the campfire! He sings to the likes of Michael Martin Murphy, Garth Brooks, George Straight and Marty Robbins.
What makes this Bungalow unique
The Western Slope is a unique location with a wide variety of sites and attractions. Any outdoor enthusiast will love to explore the Grand Mesa or one of the nearby national parks. Telluride is a 2-hour trip south and is an iconic mountain town with world-class skiing, hiking and fishing.
