Blue Fish Cottage-Hot tub, Kayaks, Ice Fishing

Relax in the serenity of the Fox River flowing past this get-a-way with beautiful river views and great sunsets! The home is situated directly on the Fox River just outside of Tichigan Lake. Perfect for a romantic retreat or a family vacation. Enjoy kayaking, fishing, bonfires and much more! 

This fully remodeled 2 bedroom, 1 bath home boasts a year-round hot-tub, kayaks and a fire pit(wood provided). The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials you will need. The main bedroom has a queen bed and the 2nd bedroom has a full bed and a twin bed. 

Outside you can enjoy a bonfire at the fire-pit, have a barbecue on the gas grill, fish off of the pier or  go kayaking on the lake.

Make yourself at home. The entire house is yours to use while you are here.

Things to Know:

 We  require our guests to be ID verified either thru AirBnb or by us.

Check in time is 3pm/Check out time is 10am.

Early check in/late checkout: We are happy to accommodate an early check in or late check out whenever possible. There is an early check-in fee of $75 and a late check-out fee of $75. Availability is based on whether there are guests checking out or on the same day as your arrival or departure, so we can only approve on a case by case basis once confirming with our cleaners that the home will be ready. Please let us know so we can initiate an advance payment.

Check-out: Please do a thorough check for anything you might have forgotten; don't forget to look under beds, couches, etc. Please check-out on time unless otherwise approved and late check-out fee is paid for.

Please respect our neighbors and observe quiet time outside after 9pm.

There are no guests, visitors, gatherings or parties allowed.

The owner will visit to treat the hot tub as necessary

No smoking allowed in the home.

**Please Note: This property is located on Lake Tichigan and you will encounter bugs such as mosquitoes, flies, bees, spiders, ants, to name a few. We do treat for insects monthly, however it is impossible to keep the house and property completely bug free**

We had a relaxing and comfortable stay in this charming, spotless and very well appointed lake house! The house literally had everything we needed and more and was very tastefully constructed and decorated. The peacefulness and views were splendid and the neighbors very welcoming. The place was everything it said it was and more. Very clean, great location. The owner John stopped by, Introduced himself was great to meet him & his wife as well . If there's something you needed, they were there for you.. the view is amazing! We had such a nice time everything we needed hot tub, fire pit, LakeviewWhat more could you ask for to unwind from a go go, go lifestyle? Yes I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get away from a hectic lifestyle just to slow down, breathe a little & take in all the beauty this place has to offer.

Nicely appointed "cottage feel" home with great decor and even better grounds. Love the hot tub/deck area. The fire pit by the water is a nice touch. The river/lake area to kayak on was just enough to go on a short adventure. The area surrounding house is just ok (road to house should be paved but is gravel). Otherwise would definitely recommend and we willl be back!

An excellent property

I was very impressed with this property. It was cozy and comfortable. Great kitchen and huge island for preparing and eating meals. The hot tub was an excellent touch. The fire pit had ample seating and was well-maintained. Only two minor observations - the water pressure in the shower wasn't great, and the owners could definitely stand to upgrade the grill. But neither of those things negatively impacted our stay. I highly recommend this property for a single family or a group of friends. I would definitely go back!
