White Pine Villa-Hot tub, Kayaks, Ice Fishing

Relax in the serenity of the Fox River flowing past this get-a-way with beautiful river views and great sunsets! The home is situated directly on the Fox River just outside of Tichigan Lake. Perfect for a romantic retreat or a family vacation. Enjoy kayaking, fishing, bonfires and much more! 

Just minutes away from Alpine Valley for summer concerts or winter skiing and tubing.

This fully remodeled 2 bedroom, 1 bath home boasts a 3-season screened in porch with fire table, a year-round hot-tub and fire pit (wood provided). As well as a gas grill (propane provided) and a kitchen fully stocked with all the basic cooking essentials. The main bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has a full bed and a twin bed. 

Outside you can enjoy a bonfire at the fire-pit, have a barbecue on the grill, fish off of the pier or go kayaking on the lake. 

Make yourself at home. The entire house is yours to use while you are here.

Things to Know:

 We  require our guests to be ID verified either thru AirBnb or by us.

Check in time is 3pm/Check out time is 10am.

Early check in/late checkout: We are happy to accommodate an early check in or late check out whenever possible. There is an early check-in fee of $75 and a late check-out fee of $75. Availability is based on whether there are guests checking out or on the same day as your arrival or departure, so we can only approve on a case by case basis once confirming with our cleaners that the home will be ready. Please let us know so we can initiate an advance payment.

Check-out: Please do a thorough check for anything you might have forgotten; don't forget to look under beds, couches, etc. Please check-out on time unless otherwise approved and late check-out fee is paid for.

Please respect our neighbors and observe quiet time outside after 9pm.

There are no guests, visitors, gatherings or parties allowed.

The owner will visit to treat the hot tub as necessary

No smoking allowed in the home.

**Please Note: This property is located on Lake Tichigan and you will encounter bugs such as mosquitoes, flies, bees, spiders, ants, to name a few. We do treat for insects monthly, however it is impossible to keep the house and property completely bug free**

The house was so cute and well equipped. The host even provided a basket with smores ingredients and a bottle of wine:). The outdoor space was well done with a yard, dock, fire pit and plenty of seating! We enjoyed using the kayaks to get out on the lake, caught some fish off the dock and saw lots of birds:)

Relaxing Girls Weekend

We very much enjoyed this rental property for a quiet and relaxing girls' getaway. We had every intention of going out to dinner and exploring the area, but we were so in love with the property, we ended up just staying there the entire weekend. Highly recommend!

First and foremost, John was by far the best host ever! Genuinely, just a great guy. Went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and wants. Cute little cottage

The house was super cute and the location/view was pretty. There is some plumbing issues though, the shower temp was inconsistent and I couldn’t get any cold water at the kitchen sink. But otherwise we had a nice stay. The bed was very comfortable! The owner left a bottle of wine for us and s’mores ingredients (which due to rain we didn’t get a chance to use) which was a nice touch! The screened in porch was a perfect place to sit and enjoy the rainy weather. Thank you for letting us stay.

We had a great time at this property. It had everything we needed. During the day we enjoyed near by outdoor activities. It was great to be able to relax in the hot tub when we returned. Cedar Point Retreat Stay was AMAZING!

We were originally booked at John and Rebecca's riverfront location but due to a double booking they moved us to their Cedar Point Retreat and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The location was off a quiet little inlet on Tichigan Lake, which meant it was quiet from the boats but you could still see everything. We happened to be there over the 4th of July and got to watch the fireworks from the pier too - a special surprise! The house is beautifully renovated and wonderful for a family or one to three couples to enjoy a getaway close to the Chicago suburbs. The appliances are all brand new and work wonderfully, and there were simple things left in the fridge for us - eggs, ketchup, Bloody Mary mix, and even some ice cream cones in the freezer! (We didn't really use anything but a couple eggs, but it's nice to have condiments!). As for things to do and restaurants - John and Rebecca do offer pontoon rental off their pier, and we had breakfast at Cafe 123 (delicious and perfect proportions) and dinner at Fork in the Road (REALLY GOOD FOOD). Highly recommend John and Rebecca's properties!

We loved our stay. The house is cute, tidy, and comfy. The kitchen is very nice. I would suggest updating the knives as they are very old and chipping. There was plenty of the necessary items, though we did run out of shower soap and laundry soap. The view is amazing and the spa even more so. Overall a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again. A+

Hard to Leave!

This home was exactly what we were looking for. The pictures don’t lie. Our 13 & 9 year old boys didn’t want to stop fishing or kayaking. Even with a day of rain, we enjoyed the hot tub and the provided games and movies. Such a relaxing getaway with the family. All of the small thoughts and amenities made such a big difference in making this home somewhere where we made fond memories and hope to come back to. Thank you!

Perfect place for a family getaway!

We could not have been happier with our stay at lake house! The house itself was exactly as it looked in pictures, which is to say adorable, recently renovated and clean. And the hosts left a bottle of wine for us which we enjoyed the first night. We also took advantage of everything the property had to offer - the firepit, grill, outdoor games, kayaks and the hot tub. The house is small but worked well for our family of three and could easily accommodate a family of four or even five. The owner also owns the property two doors down which looked equally charming. If you have a bigger group or two families, I would look into renting both homes as it would be very easy to go back and forth. Thanks for a great trip! We wish we could have spent a few more days there but we will definitely be back.

Awesome House

My two daughters and I stayed for three nights. The house was very clean, the property was beautiful and John was so nice. The house is fully stocked with all cooking items, bedding & towels. The fire pit & hot tub was a nice addition to our stay. Wifi & air conditioning worked great. We swam and kayaked everyday. We wished we stayed longer. The Pick-n-Save grocery store is less than 15 minutes away, that cane in handy. It was a nice store. Thank you John & Rebecca! We definitely will be back.

Lovely cottage

We spent a relaxing weekend here. Started and ended each day on the porch, which is a great space. Nice kitchen too! Our teenagers liked the hot tub. Enjoyed the outdoor fire pit too. Such a nice get away weekend!
