We had a wonderful stay. The home was clean, comfortable, and really convenient to town. It was fun looking over the docks every morning with our cup of coffee and watching the Coast Guard prepare for the day. This would be my first choice if I ever came back to Cape Charles.
greatly enjoyed the views wonderful to relax on the deck and perfect when we had dinner downstairs below definitely will make this my go-to place to stay at Cape Charles from now on. ,
The place was great for our weekend trip. Having access to a golf cart made the trip so much easier since Cape Charles is a golf cart community. Location was perfect for us since we could be away from the town but still be on the water. We would definitely book this place again.
The rental is exactly as described, clean, comfortable and in a beautiful setting. Basically in a Marina surrounded by boats. The rental process was seamless from booking through checkout.Renters should know this apartment is above a very good restaurant so you will have some sound from the kitchen and restaurant patrons. Cooking aromas come and go as well. The restaurant is Hook @ Harvey and is exceptional! There is a Kuerig coffee machine but No K Cups so take your own. The unit has step stairs to enter so if you have trouble with stairs beware. The outside trash can placement near the entry is problematic for flies entering the apartment while you are entering. These are NOT complaints but notes for the owners and renters. We loved the place and would return if in the area!
Unfortunately our visit was dealt a blow from Mother Nature. However, we did not let that ruin our time. A few road trips, dining out and in town shopping made up for no beach time. The Crows Nest has a fabulous view of the marina and we did get one glimpse of the sun as it set. Normal weather conditions, I'm sure it is fabulous. The Coast Guard has a few boats there and it is fascinating to hear their morning check. Saw the Pilot boat go out several times and a few fishing boats come in. Seagulls, pelicans and other birds in abundance. When booking the Crows Nest, keep in mind it is above a restaurant so there is some residual noise. Nothing unbearable unless you are a light sleeper. No TV in the living area which we thoroughly enjoyed as we chatted and laughed the nights away. There is one in the main floor bedroom, should you need. Definitely fit the bill for a much needed recharge, for besties that live 1300mi apart.
Nice quiet weekend in a beautiful town. Cute little apartment that was super clean and tidy. Restaurant downstairs is amazing.

Great location among the boats and water above a very nice restaurant. Plenty of space, convenient parking, deck for watching sunsets reflecting on the water. Delightful!
It was a truly wonderful location. Perfect comfortable furnishings. Outdoor space was spot on, we spent most of our time enjoying the deck and views. Would come back again ans again!
