The house was nice and mostly comfortable. We happened to be there when it was very cold and the heating system had a hard time keeping up, it was quite cool inside. I'm glad there was a fireplace and lots of wood to keep it stoked.

Great getaway

We had a great trip. Unit was nice, loved being able to walk to the pool and fish. Jids enjoyed the wide open fields to play.

Location! Location! Convenient to the wilderness playground of WV.

Fish in the neighborhood pond, which the grandboys loved or swim in the neighborhood pool if the weather is right; hike, ski, go to Blackwater Falls, Dolly Sods, Canaan Valley or Seneca Rocks and then you have Davis for the nightlight. Great week-end or week of adventure.

Peaceful Stay in West Virginia

The property was very clean and had everything we needed. There was an issue with the wifi at the time of our stay as the provider was transitioning to a new system. Had a small issue in one of the bathrooms, but it was addressed immediately by the owners. Many trails in the mountains nearby were great! They had plenty of kayaks/ SUPs that were available at a small lake near the office, but the lake was smaller than expected. The pool was well maintained and they had plenty of activities available on the grounds. We stayed here because if was between two colleges we needed to visit, but if we have a chance to return we will happily do so!

Great location, no wifi signal

Check-in and out was a breeze. Location is excellent for quick access to Timberline and Canaan Valley skiing. We'd love to come back and enjoy the summer amenities. The unit was clean and had all kitchen utensils we needed. Ample firewood was provided. We stayed with a family of 4 and would have been cramped with 8. Our major complaint was lack of a WiFi signal and very limited hot water (enough for 1.5 showers at a time).

We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well stocked, and we loved the wood stove in the living room. Location was also very good for us. (Only complaint - there was no shampoo or hair dryer provided.)
