About the host
Hosted by The Sirkin Family
We are siblings who grew up spending summers, holidays, ski breaks and many wonderful gatherings of friends and family at this historic New England farm house. Our parents bought the property in 1961. Three of us now live on the West coast and one sister lives in Boston.
Why they chose this property
Our parents both have New England roots, on our mother's side going back centuries, and our father to an immigrant family in Vermont. Our dad was a US diplomat and while living in Washington, DC for a time, our mom went looking for a place to have as a New England base for the family. The property was just what she was looking for: A charming but simple old colonial era house on a rustic dirt road with many acres of woods, outside a picturesque and historic town, with a gorgeous lake and skiing nearby.
What makes this property unique
Peace and tranquility, rustic antique charm, lovely private swimming pond, birch trees, nearby lake, hiking, skiing, and boating. Incredible star-gazing. Great for family gatherings.
