The villa was lovely and had lots of fun things for the kids to do. The pool was amazing.Communication was really great and there were so many nice touches like providing pool towels and cooking pizza for us in the pizza oven.

Very beautiful house on a stunning property

Very beautiful house on a stunning property. Everything was exactly as described. The manager, Marco [the owner] , was very friendly and always in a good mood. The shared pizza baking in the wood oven was a real highlight. Thank you again. The pool was cleaned every two days - perfect!!! We had a great vacation and can highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you very much! Great communication from Summer In Italy. Everything was excellent, and we would love to come back.

Villa Lacustre is a fantastic location for people who want to enjoy the quietness and be on their own far away from traffic and noise. That’s what we were looking for and found in Villa Lacustre. The house is fully equipped (kitchen, washing machine, dryer). The beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are a bit too small, but in the bedrooms there is enough space and drawers to keep order. The pool is large, with 2 stairways to enter and kept clean nearly daily. Many facilities on place for BBQ or cooking. All around, we missed nothing in the house. Totally satisfied with the location, the service and the kindness of Summer In Italy. We really can recommend the Villa Lacustre, where we enjoyed our holiday.

The house is family-friendly, and the setting is beautiful. It's peaceful, close to nature and Florence at the same time, with no overlooking neighbors. There is a magnificent pool. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the bedding is excellent. Marco [the owner] is very kind and very helpful.

Beautiful villa, lovely pool

Great quality. Everything was as we expected. Our flight was a late one, so the Property Manager met us at a nearby petrol station and led us to the property. This was especially appreciated since the road from main road to villa was very rough. Marco was really helpful throughout our stay. Check in and out was easy. Marco booked us tables at the local pizzeria a couple of times and gave us recommendations for shopping etc. Beautiful area, great scenery and fascinating culture in Florence. All in all a great week

Villa Lacustre was beautifully rustic but with all our modern needs met as well. The views from every window were beautiful. We loved spending time in the kitchen and of course out at the pool lounging. We slept wonderfully on all of the beds and with the ability to adjust individual bedroom ac units. Marco [the owner] was there for anything we needed throughout the whole process. Whenever we had questions we were able to use WhatsApp and he responded quickly. He was friendly and knowledgeable and it was clear we were in great hands with him! Marco was so accommodating that when we had early flights out, he met us the night prior for check out. Summer In Italy was also super responsive with any questions and preparation for our trip. I felt fully informed on things to expect while renting abroad. It was easy to request beds being pushed together, etc. They were incredibly helpful and kind throughout the whole process!

We were moved from another villa with problems to this one and it was like a breath of fresh air

We were moved from another villa with problems to this one and it was like a breath of fresh air. What a super place! There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this villa and even more to like about the owner, Marco. Marco greeted us and gave us a tour when we arrived. The villa was spotlessly clean, with everything you could imagine you'd need for a self catering holiday. From an ice maker to the large fridge freezer, a bottle of wine to greet us with, and more wine to purchase with an honesty basket, this villa was a dream to stay in. The pool was clean and large, the hot tub a perfect temperature. One living room had a pool table, TV, and comfy sofas, while the other had a serene vibe with a nice log burner and sofas... I could have stolen the beds had I owned a vehicle large enough! They were so comfortable! This villa is definitely on our list to return to and highly recommended. There is nothing Marco could do to improve this property for future guests. We will be returning, for sure. Summer In Italy dealt with our situation at the initial villa we had book promptly and to our satisfaction. They responded to all emails in a timely manner and I was pleased with the outcome we received. I'd definitely book with them again.

Die Villa hatte neben dem wunderschönen aber kalten Pool einen Whirlpool für sechs Personen. Marco der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Villa war bestens ausgestattet. Aufgrund der Alleinlage haben wir jeden Tag Brot gebacken. Die Zufahrt war sehr eng und ,da es nur ein Feldweg war, sehr holprig. Die Kosten für Elektrizität wurde am Ende abgerechnet. Da der Pool umgewälzt wurde und der Whirlpool geheizt waren die Kosten erheblich.

La maison est familiale, le cadre est magnifique. Au calme, proche de la nature et de Florence à la fois, sans vis à vis. Magnifique piscine. Cuisine très bien équipée, très bonne literie. Marco est très gentil et très serviable.Précision: l accès à la maison se fait par un chemin en mauvais état d environ 1 km, attention aux voitures basses.

Relaxen in der Toskana

Der letzte Kilometer bis zum Urlaub ist eine kleine Herausforderung und das Auto sollte genug Bodenfreiheit auf dem Naturweg haben. Aber dann kommt man zu einem wunderbareren Ort um zu entspannen. Da letztes Haus am Weg ist man wirklich für sich und kann die Landschaft genießen. Marco half Vorort wenn es eine Frage gab. Es ist alles da um die Toscana und Chianti zu genießen.

We loved our stay at Villa Lacustre with four adults and two children. Pool was wonderful and it was great to be able to sit outside the kitchen on the shade. It was all very clean and lovely comfortable beds. WE all enjoyed the pizza cooked for us on our last day, thanks.
