This was our third time staying at this home for our summer family getaway, and we absolutely love it. The house is beautiful, incredibly spacious, and very well stocked with everything we need for a large family gathering. There is so much room both inside and out, so everyone can spread out and relax.The pool and hot tub were definitely favorites, and we spent so much time enjoying the outdoor space together. It really is the perfect house for our family getaway, which is why we keep coming back.We had another wonderful stay and can’t wait to return!

We had a great time with our huge group of friends at Red Smith Ranch for our annual “Friendcation.” This property has multiple places for gathering, so if you’re looking for somewhere to hang out with a bunch of people at once, this is your spot. The house is set up for people to share easily (including the bathroom set ups,) and the property managers are super helpful and attentive. This was our second year staying here and we’ll be returning summer of 2027.

We loved our stay at Redsmith Ranch. The beautiful setting was perfect for a multi-generational family reunion, with plenty of time for cooking, eating, swimming, and enjoying the property’s amenities. The family room and big-screen TV were ideal for watching the World Cup Final, and nearby Lodi offered great food and low-key wine tasting.One note for multi-generational families: the primary bedroom and adjacent bathroom suite require using steps, so they may not work well for very elderly guests or anyone who needs flat, step-free surfaces.The kitchen and house were incredibly well stocked. We made full use of the refrigerators, multiple dishwashers, and spacious laundry area.When we had questions about the property, Marne and Del were prompt and responsive. We really appreciated their care and attention. Another July bonus: fresh vegetables from the wonderful garden.My family is already talking about coming back to Lodi and Redsmith Ranch in the future.

Girl's weekend

This was our first time staying in the Central Valley after staying at the coast for multiple years. We loved the warm weather and spent most of our time in the pool. We had a amazing time, and can't wait to spend time again there next year.

Incredible Home in Wine the Heart of Wine Country

The home is amazing! We use the home for our annual board meeting. The beds were so comfortable, kitchen was large and and everything we needed. Del was amazing to work with and made sure our stay was perfect. I would highly recommend his home!

Wonderful family vacation

We rent a home every summer and our 4 children, spouses, 6 grandchildren, & 1 dog, spend the time together. This house was perfect for our family of 16 people, as were the grounds which included a wonderful pool and many fun things to do around the property!

Wonderful stay!

This has to be one of the best homes we have ever rented! The house itself is so spacious, so many seating areas. Outside areas are fantastic, we enjoyed playing all the games and using the hot tub. Del was extremely welcoming and everything was explained well. We will be back!

A True Gem In The Lodi Wine Country

We stayed for the weekend and had the most wonderful time.. The house was amazing. Everything was perfectly clean. We loved the outdoors and we danced inside and outside. There were so many things to do. And we also enjoyed some time at Bokisch winery across the street. It was perfect!

Relaxing Long Weekend

We had a great long weekend at RedSmith Ranch. We had 4 adults and 4 kids in our party and the property was perfect. There is more than enough space, the kitchen is stocked, the pool and hot tub are fantastic, and the archery and games were a great added touch and provided plenty of entertainment for everyone. Del was a pleasure to work with and we look forward to our next trip!

90th birthday Celebration

The house was beautiful and surrounding area was breathtaking. There was a lot of equipment to keep us busy. Archery, croquet, cornhole. We did our own meals and the kitchen was well stocked with a fabulous Stove. It was a wonderful experiece for my family.

Unmatched Hospitality

We had a great time at our Friendcation at the Ranch this year! The hospitality was second to none, with constant communication and assistance when issues arrived (broken dryer, meant daily laundry service until they could replace it). It’s a ranch so critters are too be expected but it was handled with professionalism and timeliness. So much space for our group to spread out, pool was wonderful, and hot tub too! We plan on coming back year after year as our tradition home!

This house is more beautiful in person. There was plenty room to move around and seating areas all over the property. Del was easy to get ahold of and very responsive. We need a couples trip and are already talking about re-booking and bringing the kids.

Quintessential California Getaway

Floating in the pool while gazing out at the vineyard, picking vegetables from the garden, grilling under the citrus trees, practicing yoga under the redwoods, strolling through the rose garden under bistro lights... the ideal place to get away and experience California’s casually elegant beauty. And the house is beautiful, too! Many different little pockets for people to hang out and relax. Really like your own private resort.

Beautiful Property

RedSmith Ranch is a beautiful property with so much to do. From the pool, basketball hoop, to archery, you will never be bored. We hosted our wedding on property, and there was plenty of space for rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception dinner and dancing. There were also endless places to take photos. The Ranch exceeded our expectations and I truly could not have imagined a better place to host our family and friends for our wedding.
