My wife insists on a very high standard of cleanliness, and it means so much to our guests. And the views from this Circle Lake property are breathtaking. Many people, when they first walk onto the property, stand and stare at the lake, the island, the waterfowl, the trees, the beach, and tell us it's spectacular! We've owned this for 25 years, and hope to be here many more! And the lake is one of the best kept secrets in southern Minnesota. Most days, our guests will only see one or two boats on the lake. It's practically a private lake. Amazing! So thanks again for making this VRBO your home away from home! We hope you will come and see us again soon.

Third time staying here with our family. We love the location and comfortable, beautiful accommodations. We loved being able to sit on the rooftop patio in the evening, watch the ships come in, and even splash in Lake Superior just steps from the house.

Perfect location on the beach, just a short walk from Canal Park. The house sleeps many people comfortably and the owners have anticipated everything you might need to host friends and family. The kitchen is well-appointed, there is a gas grill, 2 SUPs, several beach chairs, beach toys for kids, and a roof top deck overlooking the lake. This place can’t be beat for location and amenities. Both the owners and the host are very responsive and accommodating also and our annual UMD girls weekend was a great success!

Mothers Day Weekend getaway!

We drove another couple to Duluth from Kansas City. They had never seen Minnesota much less Duluth. We had a great experience starting with this outstanding VRBO. Peter (VRBO Owner) had the home spotless ready for our arrival. We are already looking at a future date to repeat this trip!

Steven, first of all I want to congratulate you on being an amazing son, taking a trip like that on Mother's Day! My name is Steve too, and I tried to treat my mom like gold, all the time! My 3 brothers always said I was the favorite son. I don't know if I was, but like you, I did everything I could to make her life an amazing life. We love to hear that the home was spotless and ready for your arrival. Anything less than that, is completely unacceptable to us. We actually pay our cleaners quite a bit more than we charge as a cleaning fee. I don't know any other host who spend as much on cleaning as we do, but we feel the results are well worth it! Great place to hang out with family. Plenty of amenities and close to Canal Park. The communication with host was amazing. We enjoyed our time on the beach, watching boats arrive and amazing sunrise views.

And since this Beach House is right on Lake Superior, literally a few steps away from the water, so many guests love how close we are to all the International Shipping coming in and out of Duluth Harbor! From our Sky Deck, you can literally see these huge Ocean Going Ships approaching from 10 miles out, slowly making their way to the canal. Many of our guests literally set their alarms to get up just before sunrise, go to the Skydeck, and watch the amazing views! Please come back and visit us again real soon!

Friend Trip

We had an excellent experience at the VRBO. The view of the harbor and the sound of the water made the stay very special. It is a great location to the bridge and in and around Duluth. It is very comfortable for a friend group of 6 or a family of more with the bunk beds. It was very comfortable to just sit around and talk or to play games around the table.

Great property

Location was perfect and the space was well organized and provided private areas as well as great spaces for all of us to hang out together. The kitchen was well stocked. All the grandkids want to come back next year.

And being two blocks from the Lift Bridge, and the Canal, where you will see 1,000 ft ocean going ships sail a few feet in front of you, it's an amazing location. Greg, thanks for staying with us at our Lake Superior Beach Home. As you noted, no one on Lake Superior is any closer to the actual Lake than this home! A few feet out the back door and there it is! And there are two sets of stairs in the home, because it is so large. But so many people enjoy that, since having bedrooms on the upper and lower level offers so much more quietness when some of your guests are fellowshipping late on the main level. Always a great Duluth weekend!

This was the fourth year in a row we’ve rented this beach house, always with different friends or family. Every person who has stayed here loves it for the proximity to Canal Park and the beach, and because the house itself is perfectly stocked and comfortable!
