Fall getaway special on remaining open dates at this charming cabin!

Summer is a great time to visit Windsong. Windsong is a classic, vintage, log cabin with all the comforts of home. Nestled among towering white and red pines, the cabin is approximately 2400 square feet and sits just 25 feet from the shore of beautiful Big Spider Lake. The main level of the cabin has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The main living area boasts a fieldstone fireplace, a large dining area, and plenty of room for relaxing. The lower level offers additional sleeping along with an entertainment area that includes another TV, DVD, darts, ping pong, and many other board games - a perfect spot for the kids to hang out! The cabin is fully equipped with Wi-Fi and satellite TV. A classic boathouse sits on 200 feet of shoreline and offers a deck complete with firepit and western views over the lake - the sunsets are amazing! Spider Lake, just NE of Hayward, Wisconsin, is 1600 acres and comprised of five interconnected lakes. It is a fully recreational lake known for its excellent fishing, swimming, and beautiful scenery. Located just 15 miles from downtown Hayward, the cabin offers both privacy and convenience. There are several nice supper clubs and restaurants in the area. A perfect place to hike, bike, kayak, fish or just relax with a glass of wine in front of the fieldstone fireplace!

Windsong is paradise! When we arrived we were greeted by loons singing, hummingbirds buzzing & sunshine reflecting off a pristine lake. Sunsets, northern lights & bonfires made the deck our favorite lounging space. With provided kayaks & canoe we were able to enjoy being on the water. To be able to stay in this beautiful vintage cabin that has been brought up to date with all the amenities is a rare treat!

Amazing property

This is a wonderful place. The cabin and property are beautiful and well maintained. It was also very clean. It is located on one of the best parts of the Spider Lake Chain. And the sunsets are amazing from the deck. Owners were terrific. Highly recommend!

Fabulous place to stay

Had a wonderful time with family. Cabin is beautiful and on the lake. Very clean and has several perks such as ping pong, washer and dryer, dish washer etc. Saw a black bear during our stay. Caught a lot of fish including bass, northern, perch, pan fish and pike

Great Cabin!

Perfect for all our needs! Our family rents a cabin every year and we all agreed that this one was one of our favorites. We spent lots of time enjoying the deck over looking the lake. The sunsets were amazing!

Absolutely loved our stay. The cabin was beautiful, very clean and had all the comforts of home. The lake was clear and loved the loons including the other wildlife on the lake. Fishing was good. Didn't catch that big fish but fortunate enough to be there and watch our grandchildren catch their 1st fish on a boat we rented. They loved it and want to go back again. In fact we all do. No negatives, just good memories.

Beautiful Vintage Cottage on The Lake

Truly a lovely vintage cabin. Loads of room...great beds. Well stocked in the kitchen. Beautiful view. Deck, chairs, and firepit were perfect. Lots of steps to the deck and dock. And a bit difficult to tie up a boat

Cozy cabin on Spider Lake

We loved the location and the view. Beautiful sunsets. The cabin is very comfortable, clean and well appointed. Nice updated kitchen and bathrooms. We enjoyed the fireplace on cool mornings and evenings. More space downstairs to spread out and play ping pong, do a puzzle, watch movies. Plenty of room for 5 adults. The lake is peaceful and lends itself to kayaking and swimming. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Relaxing weekend

We had a great time staying for a long weekend, the fire place was a nice romantic northern Wisconsin feel! Ice fishing was great as well. We both agreed to stay here again.
