Excellent location in a quiet and walkable neighborhood. There are many stores and food options including an excellent food truck pod all w/in a few blocks. The outdoor space was comfortable and relaxing.
We loved the decor and charm! The kitchen had everything we needed. The neighborhood was perfect for us and even had a wonderful dog park that our pup loved. We look forward to a return visit.
Lovely cottage in a quiet & cute neighborhood with nearby park and food options. Natural light inside, great patio outside, a/c, and everything you need in a kitchen- even an electric kettle which I love for making pour over coffee. Well-stocked soaps, shampoo, etc. Would definitely stay here again and so appreciate it's dog-friendly too. Thank you for such a nice stay!
Initial confusion with check-in. Once owner was contacted issue was resolved quickly. Great location. Easy walk to restaurants and grocery store. Cottage is comfortable and quiet. Highly recommend.
Loved the home and property. The outdoor space was welcoming and the indoor space was full of comforts and Portlandesque art. Bed was comfy, shower was great, towels were soft, kitchen seemed well provisioned and the location was perfect for us.
This is truly an enchanted cottage -- and in an outstanding location in a charming Portland neighborhood. Only a short drive to downtown. It is within walking distance to Woodstock coffee shops, a cool local bar, food trucks, grocery stores, and other places. Felt very safe and comfortable. People are constantly walking dogs and babies and riding bikes through the streets. House is cozy, comfortable, and light-filled. Would love to return when we come back to Portland.
A great little cottage in a marvelous part of SE Portland: walking distance to Woodstock, a short drive or longish walk to Reed College and the Crystal Spprings Rhododendron Garden, another 10 minutes to Sellwood. Adorable approach through a gated garden archway--outdoor places to sit. Well equipped for 2 people. Comfy bed. Unusual for Portland: a/c! Very responsive hosts!!
I was their first guest and when an issue came up they were immediately responsive. The house is wonderful. Charming, with loads of natural light, room to cook and eat and a great table for getting lots of work done. Very comfortable living room. Room for a yoga mat, even. SO close to Woodstock which has everything you might need and is a quick jaunt to things to do. I recommend them and I will use them again.
My husband and I chose this primarily due to its location- close to Kaiser Sunnyside hospital and close to our son and his family’s home in Woodstock. The neighborhood is lovely and very quiet, which was perfect because after a long day at the hospital all we wanted was a very peaceful abode where we could go to bed, rest and recharge for yet another day.Marcia, the host was always responsive right from the very start and most kind and considerate. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and the layout of the home is great. Oh! And the towels are amazing- we are so going home and ordering some for our home. The bed was cozy and supportive and we slept well throughout the night. Walking through the little gate into the little garden from our car to get to the front door with beautiful flowers to greet was so wonderful. Parking was never an issue and it was just a few short steps from our car to get to the front entrance. No driving around the blocking hoping for a spot to open up. The garden patio, sadly, we did not get to use as we were not there long enough any of the days to sit out there…. But it is beautiful. Next time, under different circumstances, we certainly will.
