This magnificent one bedroom and bath oceanfront condominium is a sparkling little jewel in the crown of one of the world’s great island getaways, Amelia Island Resort, a lovely gated community with restaurants, shops, Spa and an art gallery within the gates, and more delights. Just minutes away on A1A is Fernandina Beach, an utterly charming village brimming with galleries, theaters, more restaurants and shops and a working fishing fleet.
The condo recently underwent a thorough an extensive renovation– new kitchen, bath, raised ceiling, new tile floors, new sheer draperies, redecoration. The kitchen is amply stocked with china and cookware.
A fabulous oceanfront pool is right next door to this unit where you can lounge on new pool furniture and be sheltered from the ocean breezes. A private Sandcastles walkway to the beach is a few steps from the recently furnished backdoor patio. There are stunning views from the Master Bedroom and the Living Room. Open the bedroom door and drift off to the sound of the Ocean at night! Come morning, see the sun rise out of the Atlantic!

Absolutely wonderful!

Amelia Island is a beautiful place to visit, beautiful beaches, family friendly, lots of places to explore with family, friends or just you! Lots of restaurants to choose with delicious food and great service! The town Fernandina has a lot of history to discover, with fun shops and great restaurants! We can’t wait to sit on the beach, gaze at the emerald green waters and ride the waves!

50th Anniversary Gathering

A wonderful spot. The bottom floor location gave us great access to the beach and pool. We dressed up the deck with lighting, flowers, and a formal table setting to celebrate my parents 50th with dusk over the ocean in the background- wonderful.

Overall the location was great, had a fantastic stay. The only problem was the back door could not be locked and the chain was too long which allowed it to be undone from the outside, for security reason with this location being on the ground floor it would be good to make sure this is fixed.

We thoroughly enjoyed the condo and the location is perfect. My only issue was the lack of closet space in the bedroom. The only closet was off thr kitchen and was also a utility closet. Not a huge deal. I would gladly rent again. Larry was very responsive when I had some issues with the patio door. Just had to know the trick. We will be back.

Disappointing in many ways

Property was flooded by rain. Contacted manager at 9pm who told us he was in bed and nothing he could do. He called back to offer us to move to a unit in another building but we would need to vacate unit by 10 am the next morning. Unit next to us had sandbags blocking the entry so the manager was aware of a problem. Dishes in cabinet were dirty, hair left in tub. Description of “wake to sounds and view of ocean waves” misleading as there were two large loud dehumidifiers in unit that we needed to empty and the view was blocked by a berm between unit and ocean.

These comments are a tad extreme. We had a huge rainstorm late at night and our manager was awakened from a dead sleep preparing for a 4 am flight. He was attempting to determine the best course of action while renters were yelling at him for the rainstorm issues. We were able to get towels from another unit over to sop up the water that night until we could get housekeeping over the next day to clean and sanitize. We offered to move them to another unit for the night. They did not want to leave. We have never had flooding in this unit previously. Our condos are consistently commented on for their cleanliness and we pride ourselves on keeping them clean, despite being over 40 years old. The humidifiers, which were placed by the owners to minimize humid air in a hot Florida environment, can be turned off at any time. Other renters who have stayed on this ground floor unit, like the ease and access to the beach from the patio.

Good place but could’ve been cleaner .

This was great place to stay as far as the proximity to the water and overall structure of the unit . Although, the cleanliness was not up to the normal standards of the property of the resort. My family and I visit the Amelia Island area quite often and every time that we come to visit , our stay is absolutely amazing. For some reason, this time , it fell a bit short of that when it came to the conditions of this unit. We found open granola wrappers by the window. Hair all over the couch pillows and decorative bed pillows. The small comforter on the couch smelled very musty as well as the pillows on the bed . The bathroom was an interesting case as well. The shower head was COMPLETELY Filthy . We had to clean it with CLR. The shower head of all things in the bathroom should be replaced. Also , there were several towels that were dirty which required us to have to wash them before our own use . I really wish this wasn’t the case because like I said earlier, everything else was great ! We wouldn’t mind coming back again, but the cleaning would need to be managed better.

I would have encouraged you to contact me immediately so that we could either rectify the situation or change units. We are consistently receiving high marks for our cleaning activity.

Great location for beach and pool! Condo was clean and well stocked. Only semi negative comment would be a need to replace some things in the kitchen as they are quite old. The location of this unit is so great and if you’ve ever stayed in this property before you know your walk to the beach can be quite long, but not the case with the unit! I would definitely stay again!!

Perfect small family beachfront property

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was perfect, and the one-bedroom villa was plenty spacious for our family with small ones. We had one small issue with the bathtub not draining, and it was resolved extremely quickly (thank you!). It was very convenient to be on the ground floor. We spent a lot of time on the patio while the kids napped; being able to relax and hear the ocean breeze was just perfect!
