Cozy Oak Bluffs retreat

This house is cozy, clean, and has a great little outdoor yard. Steps from Tony’s market and a 15 min stroll to Circuit Ave, this gives you all you need. Good parking is a plus. Will stay again.

My family and I had an amazing week on MV and this house was the perfect home base. The sweetest house in the best spot! We walked to and from downtown OB every day multiple times and to the beach. Best spot and plenty of room for our family.

We had a great time staying at this cottage. Annette was super responsive and made the whole booking and check-in process seamless. She was very helpful on providing guidance for booking our vehicle on the ferry, timelines, etc. in advance of our stay. The cottage was the perfect size for our family of 4 and our dog, and was in a great location. We'd definitely stay here again!

The property was cozy; I loved all the knick knacks and decorative items especially the sunflowers. It is directly next to a deli-mart, which is so convenient. ALso, the short distance walk to town was lovely. We al had a great experience.

Perfect MV vacation home

This house has everything you need for a great vacation! Only a half a mile into town(Oak Bluffs), easy walk on sidewalk. The backyard is private and cozy and the added bonus is that Tony’s Market is right there. The best salads, subs and breakfast sandwiches! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was hard to leave today.

The convenience of the location of this home is fantastic. You can walk to downtown OB. There are a few parks nearby for hiking and running around. Also, Tony’s across the street was a huge bonus. They operate as a small grocery store and sandwich shop that opens early for us early risers. Great coffee too! I try to cook as little as possible on vacation, so this made it very easy. We also rented bikes and were able to ride to the beach and Edgartown. There are both street routes and trail routes that you can use to get there, which we really enjoyed. We also appreciated that we could bring our dog! Thank you for a great vacation!

Amazing first time on MV!

Can’t say enough about this property, location, and host. We will be back asap. Even though our trip was limited by Hurricane Lee it did not stop us from enjoying the house, amenities, best outdoor shower ever, cozy and comfy house and decor, and fast responsive host communication. Has everything you need inside and out. The yard was perfect to relax and enjoy the MV atmosphere and breezes and environment. Can walk or short drive to beaches. Tony’s was the best for all you need (we went about 20 times!) w great food and drink. We are fortunate to find this place and will be back (oh our dog loved it also!).

Wonderful Trip

We just got back from a beautiful week on the vineyard. Annette was a great host and her communication was excellent. We chose this home, because of the location to town, being pet friendly and having air conditioning. It was only a 10 minute walk to town and a 5 minute walk in the other direction to a cute little pond where my dog loved to take her walks. It was very convenient having Tony’s across the street, and ordered lunch from there a few times, their chicken salad is wonderful. There is also an Indian restaurant next door and they have 25 cent wings on Thursdays, it seemed to be a big hit with the locals. We enjoyed meals on the back deck and really loved the outdoor shower. We hope to return soon. The Vineyard is a very special place. Thank you Annette for a great trip.

Excellent location, comfy and cute Oak Bluffs house

Adorable house perfect for a couple or a small family - pet friendly, clean and in a great location - easy walk into center of Oak Bluffs via Circuit Ave., numerous parks within walking distance, and Inkwell and State Beaches are an easy bike ride away. The back deck is terrific, with a nice looking gas grill we didn't get to try out, but eating outdoors in the evening was a pleasure. Outside shower is also really nice! Tony's Deli across the street is SUPER convenient, and the high-end BBQ restaurant just a couple doors over looks fantastic (it had its grand re-opening just before we left). Homeowner was super responsive and gave great tips for bike rides and hikes nearby. :). As mentioned in the listing, the house is not air-conditioned, so just be cognizant of that in high summer, although it comes stocked with tons of fans and we slept quite comfortably at night (as did our small dog). Summer days are for being outside, anyway! Highly recommended for an affordable stay in about as ideal a location as you could ask for in Oak Bluffs.

Best Stay Ever!

My fiancé and I booked our stay for a week for our wedding which occurred on Martha’s Vineyard. Annette was super attentive as a host, checking to make sure we got in ok even though we had an 8:45pm ferry and resending the instructions to access the property because I’d lost them in my phone. The house is quintessential Martha’s Vineyard and we loved being able to walk just a few steps to Tony’s for sandwiches and just a few minutes to the beach with our dogs. Literally could go on and on about how great it was but suffice it to stay if we ever need a place to stay in the future this will be our place of choice!!

Comfy, cozy, homey!! My family and I really enjoyed!

Located right across from Tony’s market, it feels like a busy location during the day but you won’t even notice when you’re gone for the day by taking a 7-10 minute walk to the beach! By the evening the area calms down and you can enjoy the back deck with family and friends. The outdoor shower was amazing! (Even better with a beer in hand after a long day at the beach) if you’re looking for the vacation you exaggerate and dream about all day but don’t have the budget for that, slap yourself now and book this property because it is everything you need and doesn’t go over board. Great price, great location (we walked to the center every morning) and the owner is very attentive and and overall hospitable host. Would definitely stay again and looking forward to it!

Great location, comfortable home!

My husband and I stayed a week in this cute house in Oak Bluffs. The accommodations were very comfortable and the house is appointed with everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. We brought our dog with us and she enjoyed the backyard and deck space. There's a wonderful park very close and shady walking trails to a pond and tradewinds field that we enjoyed in the evening on our walks. The convenient location to the beach and dining couldn't have been better. We loved riding our bikes on the back streets and to and from dinner viewing the camp meeting homes. The hostess was exceptional. She was very communicative during the entire process of booking and answering any questions we had throughout our visit. She even offered to let us stay much later on our day of checkout. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

Worst house on Martha’s Vineyard

The charm is the pictures is not there. The house is very dirty and not well maintained. Every room feels like a fire waiting to happen as the series of extension cords overload the circuits. The fire alarms ring constantly. The house states that the house is pet friendly. However, it is stained with pet urine and hair in the rugs and in the beds. The owner is responsive, but not helpful nor is she professional about the tenant experience. She isn’t committed to maintaining or updating the home. A deep clean, a caulking in the tub, stain on the deck, one AC unit in one window and mostly a purge of randomness are in order.

Great House/Great Location/Great for Pets

We chose this house because it is pet friendly. It was the perfect house for our family of 4 plus our dog. Nice backyard for him to play around in as well. Short, easy walk to Circuit Ave and downtown and an easy to bike ride to many of the other beaches in Oak Bluffs. Having a convenience/grocery store a few doors down was an added bonus.

We have been coming to the Vineyard for 10 summers now and this was our favorite summer yet! ! We had two adults and three kids with us. The house fit us very comfortably with some room to spare! The yard was perfect for some lawn games and relaxing on the deck after a day at the beach. Quick walk to town and beaches. The outdoor shower was the best! I cannot say enough good things about this place! It was perfect!!!

Great home in a great location in OB! Close to everything - we brought our car over to the island but anytime we did anything in OB we were able to walk! We picked this home due to it's location and it allowed us to bring our dog - the yard was perfect (with a lead!) for her to hang out with us. There is a bbq restaurant around the corner and Tony's market across the street. Wonderful place to stay!

So cute and cozy for our family vacation.

We were so happy staying here for our family vacation. On arrival we were just blown away by how beautiful the yard and the deck were. The whole house was just adorable. So clean and cozy. We couldn't believe the convenience of the store across the street also. And the Bar-b-que restaurant also across the street. It took a 10 minute walk to the water and everything that Martha's Vineyard has to offer. Definitely want to go back next year!!!!
