I'm an art professor at Syracuse University. I've been traveling to Martha's Vineyard since 1990 when my father bought this house. I inherited the house in 2000 and did a major remodel and addition in 2019. I've been listing on Airbnb since 2020 and have a Superhost rating across 88 reviews (4.8/5). I've also renovated a 400sf bed/bath suite with a separate entry on the property. It can be added to a reservation to make the house a 3bd/3bath (for an additional fee.) I am happy to share local knowledge regarding beaches, hikes, fishing, shellfishing, boating, restaurants and more.

Why they chose this property

The house in on a quiet cut-de-sac. Our neighborhood beach is a block down a quiet street on what's called "The Lagoon" - a 3-mile long by 1 mile wide tidal salt water pond that is a part of the Vineyard Haven Harbor. It's popular for kayaking, kite-sailing, wind-surfing, fishing, swimming, shellfishing, sailing, etc. Calm water for kids. Most of our neighbors are year-round residents and we ask that you honor their privacy.

What makes this property unique

Everything is new: Kitchen, bathrooms, outdoor shower, furniture, hardwood floors, patio. The remodeled design is great for socializing. Large Kitchen that opens on bluestone patio/grill and at the other end has a bar to the living room. Convenient to Oak Bluffs and Vineyard towns/ferries (1 mile or less) and to the Airport (5 miles).
