As long-time residents and business owners in Northeast Harbor, we’re excited to welcome you to our home. Located just blocks from the charming boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, and amenities on Main Street, Impressions Cottage offers easy access to everything Mount Desert Island has to offer. Acadia National Park—with over 200 miles of scenic carriage roads, hiking trails, and bike paths—is only 1.5 miles from our door. Bustling Bar Harbor, whale watching tours, and iconic Cadillac Mountain are just 20 minutes away. With three 18-hole golf courses and endless water activities nearby, your days will be full of adventure.

Our recently redecorated cottage is designed to provide a cozy and memorable Downeast experience. Nautical accents, warm natural light, and a quiet residential setting create the perfect environment for slipping into vacation mode.

The fully equipped kitchen features a five-burner electric stove, full-size oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer, and all the cookware and tableware you'll need. A separate dining area and spacious living room make it ideal for gathering with friends or family. Fire up the gas grill and enjoy meals on the patio!

Stay connected with fast broadband Wi-Fi and stream your favorites on the 50” UHD Smart TV with access to YouTube TV or your own Netflix account. A unique driftwood table—salvaged from Somes Sound in the 1970s—adds local character. As outdoor enthusiasts ourselves, we've stocked the cottage with maps, field guides, and books highlighting the natural wonders of the region. Ample parking is available both in the private driveway and on the street.

Sleeping Arrangements:

Primary Bedroom: King-size gel foam mattress, luxurious bedding, and plenty of natural light.

Second Bedroom: Full-size bed with closet.

Third Bedroom: Bunk bed with full on bottom and twin on top—perfect for kids or extra guests.

The main bathroom includes both a tub/shower, while a second rustic half-bath is located in the basement alongside laundry facilities—perfect for freshening up after a hike or a rainy day in the Park.

Q: How close is the cottage to Acadia National Park?
A: Very close! While many visitors head to the Park Loop Road in Bar Harbor, the park is actually spread throughout the island. Our favorite entrance, the Brown Mountain Gatehouse, is just 1.5 miles away.

Q: How many vehicles can I park?
A: The private driveway fits up to three vehicles comfortably.

Q: Is early check-in available?
A: Unfortunately, no. We typically have guests departing and arriving the same day, and we need the full turnover window to prepare the cottage for your stay.

Q: Are pets allowed?
A: No, pets are not permitted at Impressions Cottage.

Q: What if the weather is bad or the park is crowded—can I cancel?
A: Please check the listing's cancellation policy. We’re a small operation and rely on reliable bookings, so we’re unable to offer last-minute cancellations. But don’t worry—there’s plenty to do on rainy days too!
