About this property

Beautiful Sound View Condo - fully renovated!

This fully renovated lovely three bedroom condo has a comfortable open floor plan with large windows and lots of light. The living and dining areas have water views from both the balcony and deck. Relax on the deck and enjoy the quiet beauty of the sunset across the sound. The peaceful waterfowl and tides of the sound are simply indescribable. You may even have a dolphin sighting during high tide. There are docks for fishing and outdoor grills for all your barbequing requirements. Three swimming pools, one of which is ocean front, and three tennis courts are at your disposal. The ocean front pool also has a deck with rocking chairs for a great ocean view. The beach is a short five minute walk from the condo. Ocean Isle Beach is a beautiful beach for walking, sunbathing, swimming, shell collecting, and photography. It's a mile walk to the center of the island, our favorite coffee shop, Drift, and a nice selection of local restaurants. The master bedroom has a king bed and a newly renovated en suite bathroom. The second bathroom, also newly renovated, can be entered from either the hallway or 2nd bedroom, which has two queen beds. The third bedroom has a queen bed and desk. We do not provide linen and towel service, but there are several linen service options available at OIB. The condo has smart TVs in every bedroom, as well as in the living room. Bring your log in information for Netflix, Prime, and most other popular streaming services. The kitchen is fully equipped for 8 guests who enjoy cooking or just heating up takeout from one of the many island restaurants. The large dining room table seats 8 comfortably with views of the sound, and the living room overlooks the fishing lagoon. In addition we have covered parking for two cars. No pets allowed, no exceptions. Ocean Isle Beach is about halfway between Myrtle Beach and Wilmington (about a 30-45 minute drive either way), close enough for dinner or shopping. Calabash and its famous seafood are just 20 minutes away. In addition there are about 20 golf courses within a 20 -minute drive of the island. Absolutely no smoking or vaping of any kind in the condo, on the balcony, or on the deck. The condo is professionally cleaned with all surfaces sanitized prior to each rental. From June through August, we can only accept Saturday to Saturday dates.

We already want to come back!Impeccably clean, a well furnished kitchen (that I used a lot!), nice pools. We have two teens and a toddler and everyone was comfortable. The older kids loved having their bikes and riding around. The dock was great as we did some fishing and used the low dock to put in our kayaks we brought. For older folks, the stairs might be a bit tough - just something to consider. The sound views were simply stunning.

This unit is furthest back from the road, offers beautiful views of the marsh. It was clean and had everything we needed. Communication with the owner could not have been any better! The only disappointment, and this was through no fault of the owner, the HOA decided to close all of the pool on Tuesday while other resorts stayed open, had we known that we would have just rented a house on the beach.

I'm so glad you had a good trip! Again, I'm sorry about the pool closure. It was related to COVID liability. Once the governor signed liability coverage, the pools were reopened, and all of them have been open since then. Thank you for your review!

Beautiful location!

I have never been to Ocean Isle Beach, NC and it did not disappoint. The condo was very clean, exactly as pictured online and the picturesque sunsets on the Sound were amazing. The condo was the perfect size for our family of 8, and everything we needed to have meals together. It is a short walk to the beach and the town is quaint and not over commercialized. We would definitely book this one again! No fault of the owners but the HOA,the pool was not well stocked with chairs and tables so take a chair with you if you need a place to sit, the few they have fill up fast. Great rental, you won’t regret it!

Summer trip

The process was very easy and the contract person answered all questions in a very timely manner. The property and surrounding area looked just like it did in the pictures. Cobwebs on dinning room lights, golf ball under couch, over sprayed paint on bathroom door, but over all clean and nice place to stay. Neighbors were very friendly.

Calming views with open air!

My husband, daughter and I all stayed here for a week long stay in August. The home was clean and thoughtfully well-decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed the calming refreshment of the fountain view balcony out the den’s sliding door for morning coffee, as welll as sunsets and bird watching (Lots of white egrets and jumping fish) during my child’s naptime. This place gave us the perfect way to feel like we were truly experiencing beach air and water views even when anchored to the house for naps in the afternoon. Would definitely recommend!
