3 BR Beach condo 4D with great amenities: This beautiful beach condo is locatedon the west end of Ocean Isle Beach NC. We are part of Starboard by the Sea condominium complex overlooking a swimming pool and tennis court. Five-minute walk to the beach. Three bedrooms two bathrooms. Located on a unique island getaway - this is a great family beach community with swimming, tennis, great fishing and golf nearby.
The owners of this unit also own beach condo 4A (listing # 744987) located on the first floor of the same condominium building. It is possible to rent both condominium units at the same time - providing access to six bedrooms and four bathrooms and discounted prices for both units are provided below. Separate and slightly higher rental rates are applicable for Unit 4A our first floor unit. This condo also has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths.

Check In: 3:00 PM - Check Out: 10:00 AM.

Condo 4D is our top floor unit with great views. Master bedroom has a queen bed with a TV at a private bath. Second bedroom has two queen beds, Third bedroom contains custom built in bunk beds - bottom bed is double, top bed twin. Full size washer and dryer with basic cable & high speed Wi-Fi. This is a top floor unit – two flights of steps to enter the unit from a covered carport. The unit includes two exterior decks that overlook a swimming pool and a tennis court and a pond with a water fountain. We recently installed new hard wood floors in most of the condo and new carpets in the bedrooms.

There is a two-day minimum rental requirement from March through November. Monthly rentals are available for the months of December January and February. Please contact us for monthly rental rates for December, January and February.
This condo is located on an island with 7 miles of white sand beaches separated from the mainland by the inter-coastal waterway. Our condominium is about a five-minute walk to the ocean. Condo amenities span from the ocean to the inter-coastal waterway and include three tennis courts, three swimming pools, one of the pools is beachfront with a private deck for guest with rocking chairs to view beautiful sunrises & sunsets over the ocean. This is a great family beach with fantastic areas for walking, running & bicycling. Close location to great seafood on the island and just over the causeway.

We are a retired couple that will respond quickly to your inquiries through email or mobile telephone. We own 2 condos in the same building (4A and 4D), and we live in one of these 2 condos for part of the year. In many cases, we will be available to greet you upon your arrival. When we are not staying in one of the two condos we are immediately available to respond through telephone or through email throughout your stay.

This is a casual island (Ocean Isle Beach NC), wonderful for families and couples alike. Miniature golf, ice cream, surf shops & marshland boardwalks are found on the island as well as boat, bike & surfboard rental shops. Sunday beach service available. There are free concerts on the island every Friday evening from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and just off the island you will find numerous golf courses, restaurants & entertainment.

Myrtle Beach and Wilmington NC are within a one-hour drive of this beach. Once on the island most things can be reached by walking or biking. Rentals are available. No public transportation provided. Closest airports are Wilmington NC & Myrtle Beach SC.This is a popular destination in the summer, and the weather is spectacular in spring and fall when the crowds disappear and the island feels like your own private beach. Rates vary by season.

There is parking for two cars only, no more than six guest are permitted at all times. We offer an optional service - access to a ground level storage closet with beach chairs umbrella and children’s toys for an additional cost. No smoking and no pets are allowed in the unit. We are selective in terms of those we allow to utilize our beach condominiums – because these condominiums are also our home for part of the year. Many of our guests come back to our condominium year after year - some have been renting from us for 10 years or more. My wife and I love this private little beach community which is our home for part of the year. We travel a lot and we want others to be able to experience this unique beach getaway.

Tenants are required to accept contract terms that govern the use of this property. These contract terms will be provided upon booking.

Quick Weekend Getaway

We stayed at this condo while in town for a weekend wedding. Despite a tropical storm that rolled through, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the accommodations very much. We had everything we needed, and the owners were very responsive to any questions that we had. We couldn't have asked for anything better. Book here - you won't regret it.

Property was as advertised. Plenty of room for 6. Owner was in contact all week and helped with advice about moving car and what to expect since we were there during hurricane/Tropical storm Debby. Less than 5 minutes to the beach and property overlooked a turtle pond. Kids were able to feed turtles and birds.

Overall the stay was great. There was a slight issue with the unit not being ready when we arrived and the cleaning lady had to come back several hours later to finish cleaning the condo. Overall my family and i enjoyed the amenities and the location.

Nice place at the beach, a few issues

The place is older, but nice and in a great location. The beach closet was a nice touch but pricey. The beds did not seem like sheets are changed between guests. We slept on top of the covers due to cleanliness concerns. We had to wait outside for an hour after check-in time for our condo to be ready. The door code given by the owner was not correct and we had to ask a neighbor staying in another of their properties for the code. Nice pools, short walk to the beach.

Excellent For Family Getaway

We loved our stay at this condo! The host is excellent and communicated all important details and went above and beyond for us. Check in was easy and the condo was immaculate and comfortable for our family. We found it to be very clean, spacious, and well maintained with beautifully updated bathrooms. Linens and towels were all provided as well as starter paper supplies for kitchen/bath. The kitchen had everything we needed for making meals for our family. The property was beautifully maintained with easy and quick beach access. The host has a beach closet that is well stocked with beach supplies and had we fully realized how well stocked we could have packed lighter but it was great to be able to grab an extra chair for the beach. Truly a place we highly recommend and to which we hope to return.

Perfect Location

My family of 6 really enjoyed the close walk to the beach, tennis courts, and pools. We were allowed to check-in early which was so appreciated, and the communication with the owner was great. Advice to others would be to bring your own toilet paper and shampoo/conditioner/soap and games/puzzles. Also worth noting that the hallway bathtub is very high and was difficult for my 70-year old parents to get in and out of without a handle. The owner should consider installing a safety handle. We were only given one set of sheets for the bunkbed room, but there are technically two beds in that room. It wasn't a huge deal because that's where my 6-year old and 3-year old slept, but it would have been nice to have a set of sheets for each bunk.

Family Vacation

This was a wonderful place to stay with pool and beach access very convenient. Walk to the beach was close by with your own private beach access including beach front pool. The grounds were immaculate and clean. Also, a big plus was closet available for renting with everything needed for the beach and pool. Well worth renting!! Owners were very nice and responded quickly with any questions we had. Highly recommend this place to stay.

Cozy & Comfortable in a Great Location

My husband & I stayed here with another couple for a long weekend while we were in town for a wedding. The condo was everything we needed. Jeff, the owner, is so easy to communicate with and provided all the info we needed and more for our stay. The condo itself is cozy and well taken care of. Both couples had full privacy with beautiful remodeled bathrooms attached to each bedroom. The kitchen was functional and had everything we needed. Parking for two vehicles was right under the unit, making it incredibly convenient to unload and load our cars. The location was a quick and easy walk to the beach. I really can’t recommend this place enough! We will certainly try to book here first if we return to Ocean Isle.

Extremely helpful owners!!!

Unfortunately, hurricane Isaias hit the island during our planned dates. Jeff was extremely helpful and flexible throughout the entire time. He began calling and emailing as soon as the hurricane was predicted to pass nearby, letting us know all of our options and keeping us well informed. When an evacuation was put in place, he assured us that we would not pay for any time we were not able to be there, even if it was simply because we decided on our own not to go. He offered to extend our stay so that we could enjoy as much time at the beach as possible, and made arrangements for us to be able to arrive early the day after the storm. When the hurricane made direct landfall on the island causing considerable damage to the infrastructure, our trip had to be canceled completely. Jeff kept us fully informed throughout the entire process with updates and communications. Within about an hour of the town council deciding not to allow tourists onto the island, Jeff had refunded 100% of our money. He has invited us to stay with him another time in the future, and WE WILL ABSOLUTELY STAY WITH JEFF IN THE FUTURE!!! He went well above and beyond the call of duty, and is one of the best owners we have ever worked with!

Diane and I have been coming to this beach for 26 years. Now that we are retired we actually get to live here for part of the year. We have owed unit 4A for twenty years. We just purchased unit 4D in the same building. Unit 4A Is a first-floor unit and 4D is top floor with great views. We needed the additional condo to accommodate our growing family which now includes seven grandchildren - they love this beach as much as we do. We think you will love it too.

Why they chose this property

The property is small but very practical –each condo is about 1000 ft.². They are easy to maintain and life on this beach is just wonderful. We appreciate the sunsets and the sun rises, we love long walks on the beach and we enjoy bicycling the island from one end to the other. There is plenty to do within a short distance of this beach community but most of the time we stay right on the island. Our condos are on the very nice West End and our Starboard by the sea complex runs from the inter-coastal waterway to the ocean.

What makes this property unique

We believe our condominium complex is the nicest on the island - with wonderful amenities that include tennis courts, swimming pools, boardwalk along the inter-coastal waterway, and those great rocking chairs that overlooked the ocean. We frequently meet with friends at the rocking chairs, A great place for sharing food and beverages and for creating wonderful memories. This is good living.
