It is located in the Belém area, which is quiet yet central and close to most of the major landmarks (Belém Tower, Monument to the Discoveries, Belém Cultural Centre, Jerónimos Monastery, etc.). Very close to city centre, it offers the best of both worlds: a peaceful riverside setting and proximity to everything you might need.
