224 Court Street - This amazing 3 story house was first constructed in 1874 and is a one of a kind find! It has been completely renovated and is a first class retreat just one block from historic downtown Hot Springs National Park. It has 8 bedrooms, 2 large living rooms, 3 full baths and 2 1/2 baths, 2 large balconies overlooking downtown Hot Springs, a large patio and an enormous, private fully fenced back yard that has 3 separate tiers with several seating areas, bbq grill, picnic tables, fire pit and so much more! - It's 3 stories with 2 flights of steep stairs as well as stairs in the front of the house and in the back yard areas. It would not be considered handicapped accessible. The first floor has one bedroom with two twin beds and a second smaller bedroom with bunk beds. It's incredibly convenient and within walking distance of all of downtown Hot Springs. Everything is well maintained and all the necessities are provided. It sleeps approximately 16+ adults and there is a child size single sofa sleeper in one of the king bedrooms. There is direct access to the West Mountain hiking trail from the back yard. The house is one block off of Central Avenue and you can walk to the downtown area. There is on street parking in front of the house as well as a parking lot and free parking garage within a block of the house. Parties and celebrations are allowed but we request that they are limited to house guests only. We have lowered our nightly rates, reduced our cleaning fees and completely removed the administration fee, making our property a much better price point than other listed properties.

Our annual Summer family trip was packed with activities because we enjoyed being walking distance from it all on Central Ave, and the hiking trails were also easily accessible. Plenty of room for a large group and having so many bathrooms enabled all of the kids to get ready quickly. Highly recommend this home for a trip to Hot Springs.
Perfect locationThis property was great for many people, with all of the separate areas. It allowed for personal space but had areas for everyone to convene. We will be Back.

This property was perfect for our group. We were with in walking distance to everything. What we were not close to, we Uber'd and it was PERFECT! The property does have stairs but that was not a problem for our group. Loved our stay and the property owners. It is a must stay if you have a large group!
This house is amazing! Everything was as listed with tons of extra touches that made it a great place to stay.
The home is historic and the location can't be beat. You can walk to bathhouse row in 3 minutes. You won't regret booking this!
Great location! Lots of space! Would definitely stay again. The only downfall is there is no living room space on the first floor. Other than that everything else was great.
We have booked this house before and enjoyed our stay again this year . We plan on staying here again next year. The house is plenty big enough to accommodate all of our friends. It is a great location where you can walk to restaurants and shop the strip. Thank you again for allowing us to stay at your place. We come in the Spring for the horse racing.
Very accommodating venue for our large family group. The house had plenty of space, the amenities were very well suited to our stay. Location was excellent within walking distance of many activities. Spoke with Berry on the phone. He was informative and willing to help us with anything for our stay. I would strongly recommend staying at this rental.
This house is over100 years old. It has been remodeled. We had 7 couples in here and we all had plenty of room. The on criticism is no handrails on the front steps, but that was no big deal. Overall it was an awesome place to stay!!
Very good location we could walk downtown easily. The backyard was amazing! We had chill time in the evenings with the fire pit. The only suggestion would be to have a small refrigerator in the second floor sitting room, we were all over fifty so we stayed mostly on the second floor that opened to the backyard. The stairs were a little hard on our old bodies! It was still great and we had a fantastic time.
Location to downtown is great and easily walkable, but does have a hill. Parking is not great as it is only street parking on one side of a very tight street - on our arrival day we had a hard time finding parking but it did get better during our stay.
The house is large with plenty of room to spread out. Nice backyard area with a fire pit and picnic tables. Few things that could be easily fixed to make the stay better. 1. Front porch lights did not work - this made for a very dark walk up those uneven steps in the front. 2. Very few mirrors in this house in the bedrooms and some of the half baths did not have plug ins. This made it extra hard for the ladies to get make up/hair done since there is a limited number of bathrooms available. 3. No kitchen towels/wash clothes were provided and only 2 dish detergent tabs - making doing the dishes a bit challenging.
All in all I would stay there again for the convenience to downtown, if I was traveling with a large group.
There was 10 of us and this place was perfect! Bathrooms on every floor with large tables to accomodate game night! The neighborhood was quiet as well. Plus, it was 2 blocks from downtown so we walked everywhere. The hosts were nice and had toiletries there as well. 10/10 and we had a blast!
Great place to stay close to Central Ave.- Short walk. The ‘Crooked House’ was great for ALL the family. Lots of stairs so make sure you haven’t just had knee surgery.lol Great exercise though.
We had a great family vacation at this property this year! It’s walking distance to the downtown shops. Property manager was very helpful and we received quick responses to any questions we had! Essentials were there at the property and they had a binder with helpful information. The binder also included brochures to local places. The three stories ended up being perfect for our family! The teens were on the top floor, the couples were on the second floor, and my elderly mother and the small kids were on the first floor. I can’t say enough good things about this property! We will definitely look into staying here again if we visit the area again!
The cons I would say would have to be the parking! People parked in front of the house so we had to park up the street! Another con, the bottom floor was not accessible to the back yard. We had to go to the second floor to get to it.
Please consider this large historic home for staying in downtown Hot Springs. Walking is easy to restaurants and shops. Beautiful house

About the host

The Fox's fell in love with this property and wanted to bring it back to life. The restoration/renovation was completed Summer of 2020. They are the owners of Hot Springs Hemp Company located downtown at 238 Central Avenue and also have a beautiful large group vacation rental located on Lake Ouachita, just 30-35 minutes from Hot Springs. Why they chose this property
It combines the nostalgia of energy of Hot Springs in it's prime and the comfortable luxuries of modern day in one extremely convenient package we like to call "The Crooked House on Court Street". The house was originally built in 1894 and there isn't a straight angle in the entire house. Completely renovated in 2020 and lovingly furnished with a combination of antiques and new pieces. One of a kind - Must See!
What makes this property unique
One Block from Central Avenue, Downtown Hot Springs National Park. Amazing views of downtown and observation tower. Enormous three story back yard with screened in tent and small fire pit, new bbq grill and two large picnic tables and seating area.
